Paix was very quiet while Garrie's med student boyfriend was wrapping his arm. He sustained only

superficial injuries which Garrie was thankful for. It would be harder to explain and make alibis if he

needed stitches.

Garrie is about to leave with his boyfriend but decided to see Paix in his room. He's in the dark but he

can see his silhouette lying on bed. He was startled by his voice.

"I need to talk to CJ Garrie." Garrie took the stool next to his bed.

"What for Paix? It cannot be undone."

"That's the reason why I needed to. Because I don't want her to think that I did this on purpose

because I swear to God, I've never been attracted to Sarah. There's no other reason except

drunkenness.''

"What if she didn't accept your explanation Paix? What will you do then?''

Paix became very quiet. "I am prepared for that Garrie but at least, she'll hear it from me...not from a

tabloid article or an anonymous person who uploads it to YouTube. She deserves to hear it from me.''

His voice started breaking up because of too much emotion. "I never realized how much I love

her...only this time that this thing happened. Maybe because I know that there's a possibility of losing

her. But I made a mistake. I wish it never happened Garrie but it did. I'm not even sure if she'll talk to

me and hear me out. But I want to take this chance.''

Garrie can't believe that this a scene in real life. He has never seen Paix this broken as a man.

Why are you making this too difficult for me Paix? I wish I can tell you why I think this is the best for

you especially for the Bretts. That it'll be for the safety of everyone if you're out of the loop. I'm so

sorry Paix but I just can't . But Garrie's thoughts were just for himself...never to be shared to

anyone...including Paix.

"I don't now Paix... but as your manager, we rather wait till we know who is our enemy and what he

wants. If we have an idea then we know how to play this game. CJ will not be hurt by something that

she didn't know."

Paix felt so lost and defeated. At the end, he agreed to what Garrie wanted.
