A/N: this literally is just about these three. The others are too minor or have already been resolved. I could write about Sam but I don't know the insecurities revolving around that. But here, enjoy these three.

Tony: When you got the hang of walking, Tony decided to throw you a party. Which was funny, because here you were at your party, at your house, with your boyfriend ignoring you, your best friend on a mission, Natasha was in her own little world with Bruce and everyone else you know are talking to people you don't know.

You hobble over to the couch and sit on an empty seat, adjusting your maxi skirt so no one could feel. You hear two slurred voices talking.

"Can you believe what happened to Stark's girlfriend?" one asks.

"I don't know why he stays with her. Her best feature is gone," a responding voice replies.

Hot tears sting your eyes but you don't want to get up again. They continue with their drunken conversation and after the fourteenth comment, you stand up and head to your room as quickly as you can.

You shut your door and lean against it, crying softly. They soon turn into huge, ugly sobs that shake your entire body. You move to your bed and don't hear the knock at your door.

"(Y/N)?" you hear Tony say. The door opens and shuts and you feel your bed shift as Tony sits on it.

"Leave me alone, don't you have a party to attend," you say bitterly.

"I was looking for you. Why'd you come up here?"

"Because no one was talking to me, but they sure were talking about me, and my disability, my ruined feature and my burden," you say repeating the words.

"Where did you hear that?" Tony asks.

"Kyle and Fred," you tell him, sitting up. Tony cups your face in his hands and uses his thumbs to wipe away your tears.

"You are not a burden, okay? And you are your best feature. You just have my mark on you now," Tony says patting the leg and you giggle. "Come on, what do you say we throw all these crazy people out and have our own party with just our friends."

You smile at him and he takes your hand, helping you up. He kicks everyone out and personally threatens the drunk Fred and Kyle before throwing them out and you and the rest of the Avengers sit around, talking and laughing.

Clint: It was a hot day and you didn't want to wear shorts and a t-shirt but you had no choice. It was either that or sweat to death and after almost dying in an exploding car you didn't really want to feel more heat then you needed to.

You're at the grocery store and you put the chicken onto the conveyor belt when you see three teenagers snickering and pointing. When they see you staring they look away and when you turn away again, you hear their cruel comments. Feeling insecure and like your eyepatch is squeezing your brain, you take the groceries and after paying walk quickly back to the yours and Clint's apartment.

Inside, you stare at the ugly scars that go up and down the right side of your body and start crying as you put the bags on the counter.

"I didn't hear you come in..." Clint's voice trails off when he sees your tears. He comes towards you and puts an arm around your shoulder. "What's wrong? Who hurt you?"

"HYDRA," you tell him. He looks at you for an explanation. "They destroyed me! I'm a freak! My skin is scarred and I can't hear anything without these stupid hearing aids and oh, let's not forget about the eye!"

You take off the eyepatch, but look at the counter so Clint can't see your eye. You also take out your hearing aids so you can't hear his argument.

When he starts to sign it, you look at him. It's the first time he's seen it, the first time anyone has seen it except for you and the doctor. Because you lost your eyeball in the fire, they sealed your eye shut and it's heavily scarred. He stares at you hard and you can't take it, imagining what terrible thoughts are going through his head, so you go to your room.

Taking out an old photo album, you stare at pictures of you and Clint before the accident and run your fingers over your old self, wishing you could go back, hating yourself for ever saying you were ugly. Maybe this was punishment for being insecure...

You lie on your bed and cry before a delicious smell meets your nose. Confused, you get up and cautiously unlock the door, stepping into the hallway.

You peak around the corner to see Clint cooking and you smile despite your sadness and anger. Clint rarely cooks, but when he does, it's always amazing. And it's normally when you're feeling down.

You go into the kitchen and put your eyepatch back on and your hearing aids back in. Clint turns to you and smiles before taking off the eyepatch.

"I like you better without it," he says and kisses you.

Steve: You had recently gotten a motorized wheelchair, courtesy of your amazing husband, and you had taken it to go to the bookstore.

On the way in, a man holds the door open for you and you thank him before driving inside. You look up at the bookshelf and find the book you wanted. The owner helps you get it and as you flip through it, you hear a woman say to her husband,

"That poor girl. Can you imagine what her friends have to put up with when they go out with her?"

You slammed the book shut and looked over your shoulder to see a tall blonde woman who was obviously rich and more arrogant then Tony.

"Hi, yeah, a word of advice: gossip when the person in question isn't sitting right here. I'm paralyzed, not deaf."

And with that you purchase the book and drive out of the store, "accidentally" running over her foot.

"I am so sorry," you say, "I'm just learning to drive this thing."

She glares at you and you drive out like a boss. As you make your way back to the Avengers Tower, you notice people's stares and while they might not even be directed at you, it sure feels that way.

You get home in record time and head up to your floor. When you get in, you see Steve sitting on the couch.

You immediately tell him what went down in the bookstore. "Do I get in the way?" you ask nervously.

"Of course not!" Steve says, taking your hands in his, "it's a challenge, yes, but we're all willing to work with because we're just glad your alive."

You smile as he kisses the top of your head and Steve leaves to make lunch.
