Part 6

Vanessa's P.O.V.

"Write a 10 liner poem about your likes and dislikes. Combine it the both of you." I thought to myself

This is it. I love writing poems. I think this one is easier for me. But... Likes and dislikes? Sigh. I'll just think about this next week.

I went downstairs and I saw my mom packing our things. I panicked a little bit.

"Mom, what's with the things? Are we going to move or something?" I asked nervously

"I forgot to tell you, We're going to have a vacation. My friend invited us to have a vacation with them. So I guess, You have to pack now." My mom said winking

"Okay mom, but wait who's that friend of yours?" I asked curiously

"You'll know when we get there. Pack now! We're leaving at 4 am." She said smiling

I went upstairs and packed my things. Shirts, Blouses, Jeans, Swim suits, socks, under garments, and all the things that is needed. I placed it in one big bag. I'm very curious who's that friend of mom is. It's just 12 AM and we still have 4 hours before we leave. I took a shower and wore my PJ's and went to bed thinking of deep thoughts.

"Vanessa, it's 4 AM already. Wake up! We're leaving. Just sleep in the car." My brother interrupted my sleep

I grabbed my phone and my big bag then went in our car. I put my things at the back and went back to my room to get my pillow then I rechecked my things then went to the car. After, my mom put all the needed things in the car too. then my brother,

Javier went inside the car too.

"Are you excited?" My dad asked

"Not that much" I answered plainly

"Why not?" My mom asked curiously

"Because this friend of yours is bugging my mind mom." I said confidently. But with a slight hesitation. I don't know why I said that. It just came out of nowhere.

"Sis, just go back to sleep. You're just tired." Javier said annoyingly patting my back

I went back to sleep and after 5 hours of driving, we finally arrived. It's a hotel. I think this is the place we're going to stay. I checked the clock and it says 9:07 AM. We went to McDonalds and ate our breakfast

"Okay so this friend of mine I'm saying. She said, they just arrived and they are on their way to starbucks. So let's go!" My mom said happily

We went to the starbucks and waited for a few minutes and then this friend of mom arrived...

I was shocked on who came.

Greyson's P.O.V.

"Lisa! oh it's been years since I last saw you! How are you? Oh by the way this is my son, Javier and my Daughter Vanessa. and also my husband John." A woman said and then she hugged my mom.

I can't belive this. So I'm going to be with Vanessa for the whole week? Is this a co incidence or what?

"Vanessa, hey! It's you! I've never thought that Vanessa is your daughter!" My mom exclaimed looking excited

"Oh yup and by the way, who's with you?" Mrs. Anderson asked

"Oh yeah I almost forgot, This is my daughter Alexa, and these are my 2 sons, Tanner and Greyson. This is my husband, Scott."

Mom said introducing each one of us,

"Greyson? He's my classmate." Vanessa said

"Oh is that so? you never told me." Mrs. Anderson said looking shocked then Vanessa faked a smile.

We find some seats and we sat there and sip our frappe. After we finished, We went to the ice skating rink and bought some tickets. Oh yeah. We're going to go and skate all day. This is kinda exciting

Vanessa's P.O.V.

I feel awkward to be honest. But when I found out that we're going to skate, my heart jump a little. I had skating lessons for 5 years and of course this is my favorite sport. I went to the boots rental and rent a pair of boots.

"Hey!" I said waving my hands to Tanner and Alexa

"Hey Vanessa, so let's go to the rink?" Alexa said looking excited

Greyson entered first but he's just on the railings because I think it's his 2nd or 3rd time? Same as Greyson and Alexa. Our parents are already there and I'm the only one who's left outside the rink. I went to the rink without holding on the raillings and their faces are kinda shocked.

"You never told me you know how to skate." Greyson said

"Why would I?" I asked Greyson and his cheeks turned red

"I'm just asking. Okay fine if you don't want whatever!" He said then he rolled his eyes.

I did some figures for hours then suddenly Greyson slipped. I helped him stand and he grabbed my hand so he can stand. I hope I can capture this moment. If I could just remove my gloves right now. I'll keep this forever. As soon as he's up, he let go of my hand quickly and turned away. He didn't even bothered to say thank you. Then he rolled his eyes.

"Uhm, Vanessa. Wait." Greyson muttered

"What?"

"Can you teach me how?"

I nodded and smiled. I grabbed his hand and taught him how to do the basic for an hour.

"You're doing great!" I said excitedly

"You think? Well thanks! You taught me very well. I ho-" But he slipped.

"Be careful." I grabbed his hand again to help him stand up. then he rolled his eyes again

"Greyson, if you keep on rolling your eyes, I'll leave you here." I said rolling my eyes then skating slowly

"I'm sorry! Hey don't leave me here please!" He begged

"Why can't you like me back?" I whispered

"Are you saying something Vanessa?" He asked curiously skating slowly

"Nothing bye,"

"WAIT!!" Greyson said but suddenly...
