Kirstie POV

Pain. I lay down on the floor, as thunder cracks outside. I grip my stomach, and wail. Avi isn't around. I stand up, but am shot down by pain again.

I manage to call 911, and I'm taken away- and I leave a note for Avi. He is at his parents.

Running the tests.

"Kidney Stones?"
No.

"Ovarian Cancer?"
No.

"Menstrual Pause?"
No.

Then- what could it be?

The final test is the one I dread the most.

The pregnancy test.

It comes back positive. I'm pregnant.

Avi POV

I swear- once Scott sent the text that Kirstie was in the hospital - I was so worried.

I called her, no answer.

Called Scott, no answer.

I can't leave- the highway out of here is closed- and no back roads. I can't.

Finally- she calls me.

"Are you alright?" I ask.

"Yes- I'm fine."

"I can't call you my fiancée anymore." I hear from the other line.

My heart sinks.

"Im going to have to call you my baby daddy."

"I'm having your baby Avi Kaplan."

"I love you!" I exclaim.

I have never felt more joyous in my entire life, and I went down stairs, and told my parents. They where ecstatic. Even though Esther and Darien have had twins, she seemed so happy.

I'm happy!

"Good morning." I hear Avi whisper.

I look up, and see my fiancée smiling at me.

"Hello there." I laugh, and kiss him.

He puts his hand on my stomach.

"Baby Daddy huh?" He laughs.

I smile, and kiss him, again.

"I love you."

"I love you to."

Avi POV

"I have something to show you." I laugh, Kirstie's eyes closed.

"What could I possibly be?" She giggles, as I guide her down the hall.

We reach the door, and I take my hands off my eyes.

"What could it be?" I joke.

"Something." She mutters.

"Aw, you got morning sickness again." I say.

"Not exactly."

Kirstie then falls to the ground screaming, clutching her stomach.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!"

"Kirstie? KIRSTIE!"

We get home, and Kirstie puts her bag in the chair.

"Off to bed with you." I say, guiding her along.

"I want to see the surprise."

She walks down the hall, and opens the door- to the nursery.

"Kirstie-" I start.

She looks around the room, and walks up to the changing table.

She holds up a shirt, that says, "I love Mommy."

She then breaks down.

"Kirstie- I'm not going to loose you."

She sighs.

She sits in the rocking chair, and tears slip down her eyes.

"Avi stop doubting me." She says.

"Kirstie-"

"Avi, I'm going to have this baby, and survive." She says, and kisses me.

I sit on the floor next to her, and out my hand on her stomach.

"Ok?" I ask.

"Always." She smiles.

"What's up with you?" Kevin asks, holding his baby.

"Kirstie has Placenta Previa. It means that we could loose the baby and her during childbirth. It's awful."

"I'm sorry man." He says, and hugs me.

"She's strong." He says.

"Hopefully." I smile.
