I sigh deeply, soon stoping. "I'm sorry.." I said quietly. Riley stops too. "What?.." She asked. "I'm sorry." I repeated myself, saying it a bit louder this time. I soon feel her arms wrapped around me from behind. "We can stop.. If you want.." I said. I really didn't want to, but I did. Atleast I'd be away from my kingdom longer than I would've been. I start to set up a camp so we can be some-what sheltered. "Maya.." Riley said quietly. "Yeah?" I replied, looking over at her. She looks down bashfully, her face turning a deep red. "Well.. Could we.. Sleep together?.." My eyes widen upon hearing her ask that. "What?! Princess!" I said shocked, my face heating up. Her eyes soon widen, her face becoming more red than before. "I didn't mean that.." She said quietly. I rub the back of my neck slightly. "Right.." I said quietly. "I'll just.. Finish our shelter.." I said as I continued building it. I soon finish. It doesn't look too well, but it's all we've got. We get under it, laying together. It's a small space, we're really close to eachother. I can feel Riley's breath on my face, causing my face to heat up slightly. When I look at her, her face is becoming red. I smirk at her. "You okay, princess?" I asked jokingly, causing her face to become more red. "I'm not, princess.." She said quietly, causing my face to heat up. "I-I'm your p-princess?.." I choaked out quietly. Her eyes widen as her face becomes a deep red. "You don't just see me as another knight? You don't just see me as someone to protect you?" I asked hopefully. I have hope for something. Who knew that'd happen? I sure didn't. She smiles slightly. "I see you as more than just a knight, Maya." She whispers gently. She looks into my eyes, placing her hand gently on my face, soon closing her eyes, leaning closer to me. I watch as she gets closer to me, soon leaning closer to her also. As soon as I close my eyes, I feel a drop of water hit my face, causing my eyes to quickly shoot open as I jump slightly. I quickly get up, drawing my sword, ready to fight. "Maya, what are you doing?" Riley asked. "What does it look like?! I'm pro-" it soon starts to pour. "Tecting you.." I finished, annoyed. "Okay." I return my sword, sighing slightly. When I said this would protect us from the elements, I didn't mean it'd keep us dry from rain. Especially not this thunder storm. Riley soon gets up, coming over to me, holding onto me like we're being attacked. Well, more or less so. When we were attacked she didn't cling to me like this.. She wraps her arms around my waist tightly, not giving any signs of letting go any time soon. I smile slightly as I roll my eyes. "Okay. That shelter wasn't good enough. Maybe we should find a cave or something." I suggested. "G-good idea.." She stuttered out, sounding like she was shivering. I can understand why. She's wearing a dress with no sleeves as it's raining.
