Plan C

"Ewww," Jamie said wrinking her nose. It had been a couple of hours since Jeremy and Jamie had made up and during that time Jamie couldn't help but stare at the dead man in the middle of the bathroom. Gross.

"Do you guys have a plan yet?" Jamie half asked half whined. Now that the seeker was dead they all were thinking about how to get back up into the vent.

"Nothing," Jeremy replied throwing his hands up into the air, frustrated. They tried all sorts of things, climbing on top of the stalls, standng on each other's shoulders, they even attempted to throw Tiffany up through. Luckily Jeremy caught her when she didn't even go near the hole.

"Lets just face it, it's way too high, and the vent probably isn't sturdy enough to hold us all, I mean we did learn that the hard way," Jeremy said this as he stroked a bruise on his face. Ouch.

"Ugh!" Jamie groaned. She knew something bad would happen, in situations like these there was always a twist.

"Well, I guess plan B's outta the question too," she said.

"Whadaya mean?" Tiffany asked, curious little thing.

"Well, we were hoping that....that..." Jamie attempted to answer, but had trouble finding the words.

"We were hoping that your cute little face would make all those bad guys realize how special you are!" Jeremy winked at Jamie. He knew just what to say. Tiffany giggled and ran to Jeremy who in returned picked her up and swung her around.

In all seriousness though, they needed a new plan. If Tiffany couldn't melt the heart of that seeker, there was a big chance that the other seekers would ignore it as well.

"Now that we have no plan whatsoever, what do you think we should do?" Jamie stood up and dusted the invisible dirt off her thighs. As cute as it was watching Jeremy and Tiffany have fun, they needed to get out of here. Tiffany deserved real fun in a real playground, not a bathroom with a hole in the ceiling.

"I don't know," Jeremy shrugged his shoulders. "Tiffany! Lets put our thinking caps on and see how we can go home!" Jamie smiled and shook her head. She loved how even in tough situations Jeremy was always able to have fun and make others forget about the trouble they were in.

Not knowing what to do Jamie stood up and went over to pick up Jeremy's seeker costume. She started folding it, not because she was OCD or anything, but really because she was bored. She looked at her masterpiece and still bored decided it wan't good enough. So, she folded it again, and again, and again until she couldn't stand the feeling of the fabric on her fingers anymore.

Frustrated with how bored she was she crumpled it into a ball and threw it on the floor where it landed a couple of feet away from the giant blood puddle on the floor. Jamie closed her eyes and held back the sensation to throw up. Stopping the fan in the vent must have cut off all air conditioning. A hot bathroom with a puddle of blood is not a good mixture.

"Jeremy I don't feel so well," Jamie stated rubbing her stomache.

"Do you need to throw up? Did one of your buttons unlock?" Jeremy questioned reminding her of the button situation. One of the least of their problems.

She shook her head, "No, it's not the buttons it's the blood it smells awful in here." She gestured to the seeker. Sweat prickled on her forehead from thinking about the heat, and the metal suit felt like she was trapped in an oven.

"Jeremy we need to get out here please," she walked to the stall and leaned her head against it hoping it would be cooler than the air. Nope.

"Don't worry Jamie, I'll find us a way." Gosh she hoped so. Otherwise she'd probably end up dieing of heat stroke. To think she'd lived through all of this just to end up dead from a broken air conditioner.

Just as Jamie thought she was going to pass out Tiffany got up and ran over to the crumpled up ball of black fabric. "Dress up!" she exclaimed excited to play something other than 'I spy' which her and Jeremy had played a lot lately. There's not much to spy on when you're stuck in a bathroom.

"Hey, Jamie," Jeremy called to her causing her to glance in his direction.

"Yeah?" he took her hand and dragged her to Tiffany who now had pulled the seeker outfit on, it looked way too big for her, but was cute all the same.

"I think Tiffany just solved all our problems," with that said Jeremy removed the outfit from Tiffany who hesitated before letting it go. He then put it back on himself. Jamie felt bad, it was like a thousand degrees in there but she must say he did look good in black. Once his outfit was in place he started to explain what Jamie felt like was a terrific plan.

"Remember how you thought I was a seeker beforehand?" Jeremy asked. Yeah, Jamie remembered and she didn't want to think about how mad she'd been at him.

"Yes, I do," Jamie replied quickly wanting him to finish his idea. The quicker that was done, the faster the possibility of leaving that hot, smelly bathroom.

"I was thinking, if you thought I was a seeker, and that other seeker thought I was a seeker then everyone else should think I'm one too!" he stopped there. Jamie had to admit, she wasn't sure what he was trying to say and felt stupid for not knowing, it was probably the heat.

"Huh?" Jamie asked. She felt like her thoughts were slowing down, this dang heat, she really needed to get out of there.

"Jamie, if they think we're seekers then they won't take us away to degenerate us and we can look for a way out of here," he said this slowly as if that would help Jamie understand better.

"We can't all be seekers, no one would think we are if Tiffany wears a costume, she's too little and besides we only have one," wow. Her mouth was really tired from that one sentence. What did she just say again? Why was she so forgetful.

"No, Jamie, we won't all be seekers, but I can pretend to be one and I'll fake bringing you guys to the degeneration room! It's genius!" It was genius, and Jamie was glad that they now had a plan C. Wait, what was their plan A and B again? Jamie was so tired, her brain felt like it was shutting down. Wait.

Jamie took all of her strength to bring up her wrist. Her vision was going foggy so she couldn't see.

"Jamie," Jeremy sounded concerned, he even looked frightened, at least she thought so, it was hard to tell with how blurry her eyesight was.

"Wha-?" Her mouth could barely move.

Jeremy gulped before he spoke again, "You're brain button."

"Hmmm?"

"It's unlocked."
