"Ready?" Jeremy asked, as he made eye contact with the others. Jamie didn't even need to think about the question, no, she wasn't ready, but did she have a choice?

"Ready as I'll ever be," she replied with a nervous smile. It was true, she may never be completely set to leave this bathroom, but if she was ever going to be ready this was the best it would get.

"Does everyone remember the plan?" Jeremy asked for probably the fifth time in ten minutes. He directed this statement towards Tiffany, she was young and therefore the most likely to forget what she was supposed to do.

"Yes!" Tiffany cried with a little jump in the air, boy was she excited to get out of there. As Jeremy made sure all of their supplies was with them Jamie conjugated the plan in her head. Jeremy was in his seeker suit and Jamie and Tiffany were to pretend that he really was a seeker. By doing this if any other seeker or even player comes by it would look like any ordinary trip to the degeneration room. Who knows, maybe a seeker would even help Jeremy on his way to the degeneration room and they could find a way home sooner.

"Jeremy?" Jamie asked quietly so that Tiffany couldn't hear.

"Yeah?" he responded leaning in to close the gap between them.

"If we reach the degenera-" she was cut off by Jeremy's hand covering her mouth.

"Not if, when," he said as if saying that would allow it to come true.

"WHEN we reach the degeneration room," Jamie stated again emphasizing the word 'when'.

"Yeah?"

"What will we do when we get there? We don't know if that's the way out or if there will even be any clues to tell us how to get out." her mind was swirling with questions similar to these, but it would take forever to ask them all.

Jeremy reached his hand out and left it on her shoulder, the familiar strong grip giving Jamie a sense of calm.

"I don't know exactly what's going to happen when we get there, but what I do know is that we have a better chance of going home if we try this plan rather than staying here," Jamie stopped staring at the floor and instead looked straight into his eyes. She could tell that he was just as scared as she was, and she needed to do this, be strong for him.

"You know that I love you right?" a playful smile coming onto her lips, she didn't know why she said it, but all she knew was that Jeremy was amazing at pep talks and maybe that's why she spoke.

"Of course you do, what's not to love?" Jeremy rhetorically asked brightening the mood. He gave her a peck on the cheek before grabbing Tiffany's hand. Tiffany reached out and took hold of Jamie's hand before they all pushed open the door and walked out of the bathroom.

The minute the three of them were out Jamie's heart rate quickened at an alarming pace, she was definitely scared, but luckily there were no seekers around yet so she was safe for now.

"Which way do we go?" Jamie whispered afraid of being heard. Jeremy silently pointed to the right, if they were crawling in the vent that would've been the direction they were crawling towards.

They all walked in silence for what seemed like forever, the hallway didn't change, every couple of moments they would pass a door and peek in, but they were all rooms like they originally hid in. Jamie's heart rate had slowed and she actually found herself to feel almost relaxed. Just as she was about to fall asleep she felt Tiffany's grip tighten on Jamie's wrist. Jamie had been staring at the ground and looked up to find a seeker pulling along another player.

Before Jamie had time to react the seeker walked over to Jeremy, Jamie stopped breathing afraid to make a sound.

"Need any help here?" the seeker asked Jeremy nodding his head in the direction of Jamie and Tiffany. For a moment Jamie was afraid Jeremy would say yes.

"No, I've got them, they're cooperating nicely," Jeremy replied, Jamie and Tiffany shook their heads yes hoping that would make his story more believable.

"Alright then, I've got your back if there's a problem," with that, the seeker walked off dragging the girl he had with him.

They all waited until the seeker was barely out of sight before walking again.

"It's a good thing he found us," Jeremy commented as he concentrating on not losing the seeker.

"What? Are you crazy? How is that a good thing?" Jamie whispered harshly. As far as she was concerned, seekers were bad people.

"Now we can follow him to the degeneration room," after he said this he tugged them along a little faster in order to keep up with the seeker. Jamie knew they had to go, but she felt like the degeneration room was really going to be a walk to their death rather than a way home.

"How much longer?" Tiffany whined, the loud sound of her voice caught Jamie by surprise. She was caught even more by surprise when Jeremy abrubtly stopped walking and looked straight at Tiffany.

"I don't know how much longer it's going to be, but what I do know is that your whining is going to be the reason that we're caught. If you whine one more time then I swear I will hand you off to the other seeker up ahead do you understand?" Jeremy sounded stern, angry even. Tiffany nodded her head and Jamie could tell that she was holding back tears.

"C'mere," Jamie spoke quietly to Tiffany and wrapped her up in a hug, she then looked directly at Jeremy.

"That was uncalled for," she spoke to him as sternly as he spoke to Tiffany.

"I know, but if we get caught then she won't have anymore chances to whine at home," he was pacing and Jamie was losing sight of the seeker in front of her.

"I. Don't. Care." Jamie said separating each word. "I understand that you're scared, and I know that Tiffany may have whined too loudly, but that is not a good enough cause to threaten her." she picked up Tiffany who was still hugging her and walked off in the seeker's direction with Jeremy still behind.

"Hey, at least wait up for me!" Jeremy yelled as he jogged up momentarily forgetting that Jamie was upset with him. She turned around quickly to face him.

"I don't know if you notice, but your yelling is much louder than Tiffany's whining, so I suggest that you practice what you preach," once she said this Jeremy's mouth dropped open at the realization of how stupid he had acted.

"Anyways Jeremy, there's no need to run,"

"And why's that?" he asked his tone showing off his annoyance.

"Because,"

"Because why?"

"Because we're here."
