Yasmin's Pov-

I watched helplessly as they totured poor Elise. She had passed out and yet they still continued to cut and strike her. If this continues she could die. No, she will die.

They turned off the light to the room and left as I was looking through the small window. James closed the shutters on the window from in front of me and lead me away from her cell. The both of them were covered in her blood and I didn't want Chloe to see that.

I didn't want Chloe to get involved in adult affairs. Chloe's my younger sister, she's only 10. But Chloe thinks I'm dead, she thinks I died. I suppose I have changed in looks since I got here, my hair is lighter, I'm taller and I got rid of the baby fat on my face. She thinks I'm just another person that works for James and Mike.

How they met I'm not even sure. I vaguely remember James telling me he bumped into him when he escaped the cops and they formed the partnership there.

But even then I'm still not too sure about it. I would ask but- I'm scared to I guess.

Even though to Chloe I'm just one of James' workers, I still look after her. She knows my name, she just doesn't know it's me.

Trust me, I would like to tell her, I just can't.

Reluctantly I left the window, following after James so I could go get Chloe from her room and cook dinner.

Elise I hope someone comes to get you soon I thought and opened up Chloe's bedroom.

The room was a mess, the toys scattered everywhere and plushies were stacked up in front of the bed.

"Chloe? Where are you?" I called out. She wasn't in there, and by the looks of it she hadn't been for a while.

I lifted up the covers of the bed and looked in the closet to see if she was hiding. But I still couldn't find her.

"Chloe! It's dinner time!" I shouted, cupping my hands around my mouth to amplify the sound of my shouting.

Leaving the room, I decided to search in the bathroom. But as I did a dreaded sense of paranoia washed over me.

There was only one more place I could think of that Chloe would go. Only one more person she was most likely going to run to if she needed someone to talk to. And I was busy a lot lately so she couldn't talk to me.

She didn't know the punishment for being in that room after a certain hour, a punishment dished out for us by James and Mike.

The only exception to that room was Elise. Why? Because that's were she was kept. Although, she got punishment constantly and just for being alive.

My footsteps echoed down the dark hallway as I ran towards the room, hoping with all my might to God or any Deity out there that I would get to Chloe before them.

Panting, I pushed open the door to the room and walked inside. I left the light off and waited for my eyes to adjust to the darkness. I heard quiet talking and made my way over towards the sound. And there I found Chloe talking to a slumped over Elise.

"Chloe I've been looking everywhere for you" I said, relieved, "It's time for dinner."

"Sorry. Chloe was just talking to me, you know, keeping the lonely toy company." Her voice was rough and bland, it didn't have any emotion, it sounded dull, faded, lonely.

"It's okay. It's just we need to go. If we're found in here we'll-"

"You'll be what?" A male voice said from behind me. I hadn't heard the door open behind me and had let my guard down as soon as I found Chloe.

"Nothing" I squeaked as the lights flickered on and James stood by the door with Mike next to him.

"Sure thing, I believe you when you say nothing. So what are you doing in here?" James asked.

"Nothing we were just-" I was cut off.

"Right. I understand. You just happened to walk in here without realising and now you want to go away and everything be perfectly fine again?" He replied, cutting off my sentence.

"No" I sighed. I knew we weren't going to get out with only a slap on the wrist so I'd rather take the blame instead of having Chloe take it. "I wanted to see Elise so I brought Chloe here against her will on the way to cook dinner."

James smiled, it wasn't a good smile, and walked over to me. He grabbed me by my hair and took Chloe's hand in his. "You'll be coming with me Yasmin, Chloe go stay in your room please."

Chloe nodded her head and ran off to her room. "Chloe wait!" I yelled out and the young girl stopped. "I l-" a hand went over my mouth and Chloe turned around and went back to her room.

"Now you've asked for it" James growled. He slapped me around the face and dragged me to the wall in front of Eli in her cell. Mike had disappeared in this time and came back shortly after I was pinned to the wall with a key.

Using the key he unlocked handcuffs that were hung high up on the wall and low down on it as well. They forced my wrists in the higher up ones and my ankles in the lower ones.

"Little Orphan, you have to watch~" Mike sang as he went over to Elise. She didn't lift her head so he slapped her.

After that she looked up and saw me chained to the wall. "This is Yasmin's punishment and because we want to toture you in everyway possible we'll make you watch" James laughed.

Mike grabbed the back of her hair and forced her to hold her head up to look at me.

Her eyes widened and everything went black as James put a blindfold over my eyes.

I couldn't see a thing and that's what scared me. What was going on? What was happening in front of this blindfold.

"No! You can't! Stop it!" I heard Elise yell.

"I think we can" James chuckled and then it was silent.

And then nothing.
