Chapter 13- Go the Distance

Elise's Pov-

I had a song written that I wrote a whole back. And I really wanted to record and post on youtube. Its just... the topic it was about, isn't a thing anymore.

I had the backing track all ready recorded from back then... before all this happened.

I loaded them all up on the computer and made sure that it was plugged into the Amps that Lillie and Tyler had in their recording room.

I set up the camera and did my intro. "Hey Fireflys! FreeFireMc here with my first original song that I wrote awhile back and yeah. Thanks for one million subscribers and I hope you enjoy!" I made a heart with my hands at the camera and smiled as I clicked the play button and got ready to sing.

"Oh woah. Oh woah. Oh woah" I sang the opening bit and closed my eyes as I sang.

"I remember the first,

I didn't say a word,
We were too nervous to make our feelings heard.
And now we've been through the worst,
and we came out the other side just fine.

We just take it day by day." As I got ready for the chorus I almost didn't notice the tears flowing from my eyes.

Although it's happened so fast.

I think I've found the answer,
to all our little problems.

Whoa oh oh" I stopped singing and opened my eyes and looked at the camera as I wiped my tears on the bottom of my jumper.

Alright Elise, no point in making another scene of your self. Just stand up and edit the video.

I stood up and sat down in one of the spinny chairs and put the video onto the computer. I edited the video so that it had little flowers that slowly blossomed as the video progressed.

I stared at my outfit and smiled as a familar memory came flooding back to me.

~Flash back~

Ty grabbed my hand and dragged me out from the house. I giggled as he started running, dragging me behind him still.

"Ty where are we going?" I asked as I ran along with him.

He stopped and walked backwards facing me as he let go of my hand. "Somewhere were no one will be able to find us. Somewhere we can be together" He replyed and turned around and started running again.

"Hey Ty wait up!" I yelled after him and ran to catch up. I stopped running and walked as did he.

Then he stopped as the wind blowed around us. He sat down and then laid back.

"Sit down Eli" He called to me.

I walked over to him and sat down next to him and laid down. He wrapped his arm around me as I realised we were on a cliff, covered in pretty flowers and long grass.

"It's amazing how you come up with these places" I whispered as I stared up at the sky.

"Is it? Or is it just because you're here?" He replyed. "That cloud looks like a bunny" He said as he pointed up to the sky, wrapping one arm around me.

"It looks more like a duck" I smiled and cuddled up to him.

"No it's a bunny" He pouted. I laughed and shook my head.

"And this fluffy cloud looks like Ty and his hair" I giggled and looked at him.

"Maybe because it is" He laughed in reply, hugging me.

~FlashBack Over~

My heart ached and I closed my eyes tightly. Maybe if I closed them tight enough, Just maybe the pain would go away.

The Flower headband, the pink peachy top, the shorts, the wedges. All what I was wearing right now...

I smiled against the pain as I remembered that memory. That was the day I wrote that song... that was the day when I wrote that song... that song...

I wasn't right at all was I? We couldn't go the distance.
