I am a coward.
I hurt my wrists,
And think of suicide.
I hide how I feel,
On he inside.

On the outside, I'm perfect.
A straight A student.
On the outside,
I'm the leader,
The one as tough as stone.
On the outside,
No one can hurt me,
And I know I'm not alone.

But on the inside,
I'm lonely,
And know that no one knows.
On the inside,
I'm a crumbling stone wall,
That's not tough at all.
On the inside,
Their words are the things that hurt me the most.
On the inside,
I'm a follower,
Afraid to go my own way.
On the inside,
I'm hopeless,
And just want to fade away.
On the inside,
I'm filled to the brim,
With sadness,
And dismay.
