Work was good today. Not that it wasn't good everyday but she had a light day and she managed to get home at a civilized hour. Her mother was usually alarmed at her timings so much so that she had stopped asking. She would just chatter on about the happenings of the neighbours, relatives and the like. She was glad in a way.

She turned her key in and let herself in. She dropped her bag on the desk chair and took in the surroundings. That is when she realized that her bean bag was not in the usual place. The blanket on top of it was on the floor and the TV was on. She picked up her umbrella to arm herself and pulled out pepper spray from her bag. Her muscles tensed as she walked towards the kitchen trying to make as little noise as possible. It looked empty. Her stomach rumbled at the sight of her fridge but she had more important things like nabbing an imposter in her house. She stealthily turned around and screamed at the sight before her.

Author's Note: I know this chapter is ridiculously small. That is why the next chapter follows in the next 5 minutes. Enjoy! :D
