Just friends? [Oneshot]

It was a winter night and you were stuck with Yata in his apartment because of the blizzard, playing videogames "hey, no fair!" You whined as he laughs sarcastically "hahaha you can't beat a pro like me!" As he pointed himself proudly with his thumb.

You threw a pillow at him as he catches it, giving you a smug expression "mou.. Can you just give me a game thats not hard?" You pouted "well.. I dont have any. How about we play cards?" He asked, going to a near shelf to find his deck of cards

"I only know solitaire or free cell.." You frowned, hugging your knees "well fuck that shit" he growled and set down the deck he just found "How about board games?" He asked looking at his chess board at the top of his shelf "i guess i know a little about chess" "good. Lets just play chess then."

Few moments later
"The blizzard wont even stop" you looked at the window "yeah.. Wanna stay the night? I'll sleep on the couch." He offered "eh? Can we just share a bed?" You looked at him as he blushed and looked away "no way, man. There's no way i could share the same bed as you" he snorted, crossing his arms.

"Hey, Misaki.." You called

"yeah?"

"Why are you so shy around other girls than me?"

"Heh. 'Cause you're my friend and you look more like a guy" he joked, laughing sarcastically

"...."

"[Name]?"

"...." You looked away and sat on the couch

"Oi, [Name]" he snapped his fingers in front of you but you ignored him "I'm just joking, dude, come on." You looked away, huffing "oh fuck this fucking shit" he stormed to his kitchen boiling some water. You look to the kitchen thinking of what he was doing, you hugged your knees, shivering a bit "s-so cold.." You stuttered as Yata offered you a mug of hot chocolate "here" he said "thanks" you took the mug and take a sip as you smiled, that kind of smile that would make Yata blush

"hey, [Name]?" He spoke, scratching the back of his head sheepishly as you looked at him "uhm.. Nevermind.." He gave up and sat beside you as you shrugged it off and finished your chocolate "do i really look like a boy?" You asked as he shook his head "i was just joking" he snorted, not making eye contact with you "usotsuki, kono baka" you pouted "y-you're just d-different to other girls.." He stuttered but you were waiting for him to say something..

"Ne, Misaki.. Am i just a friend to you?" You asked, looking at the mug "i mean.. I really like you.. More than just friends.." You blushed burying your face more in your knees, embarassed that you had said it. If only you could see Yata's priceless reaction. Jaw drop, speechless and face flushed red "u-uh... I.. I k-kinda... I..uh.. Fuck i..ugh... Fuck this!" He made you turn to face him, cupping your cheeks, making you blush madly

"M-Misa-" he cuts you off with a pair of lips on yours, as he hugs you, pulling you close and you kissed back after a few seconds of buffering and wrapped your arms around his neck. It took both of you a few minutes to pull away for air as Yata rests his forehead against yours, blushing "i fucking love you, okay?" He said as you smiled and hugs him, burying your face on his chest as he strokes your hair, sighing. You hearing his heartbeat skippingfast "shit" he grumbled as you giggled softly.

"Can we share the bed now?" You looked at him "what? No." He laughed "why?" "I respect you, 'kay?" With that he meant that he might not resist himself if you two sleep together in one bed. You pouted "fine" not understanding what he meant.
