Cracks spread across,
Don't pretend it isn't true.
I've already lost,
But you don't have to.
I've lost my fight,
But you can win your war.
I was swallowed by the night,
But you can even the score.
I couldn't handle this life.
But you are stronger than I.
You don't have to take my knife.
You don't have to die.
I couldn't save myself,
But if I can save you,
If I can help,
I'll do whatever I need to do.
I've never cared about myself.
But I care about you.
I'd be willing to sacrifice my health
To prove that to be true.
