Chapter 40

Jason's P.O.V.

I carried the bag of food in my hand as I opened the door to my house, I took my shoes off and put my keys on the side.

"Gabi!" I called out, setting the food down and waiting for a response. I yelled even louder, maybe she didn't hear me because my bedroom was pretty far from this part of the house.

I heard screams for help and my heart instantly started pounding, I quickly ran up the stairs, so fast I ran down the hall and slammed open the door to my bedroom open only to see the most sickening thing that made me fuming.

Jessi, one of Delgado's gang members was on top of my poor baby, he had already taken of her shirt and was trying to now take of her skirt. Balling my fists up, I saw red.

I ripped his body off of her throwing him to the ground were I lunched and kicked him over and over until I saw blood falling from his face, I heard the crack of his ribs but that didn't stop me, I wanted to see him dead.

He passed out unconscious and I breathed heavily, turning around to see my poor baby girl sobbing in her hands. I quickly rushed over to her and picked her up and carried her out of the room and down the stairs. I sat her on my lap and she cried in to my chest.

"Shhh, baby its okay, I'm here now..." I wanted to cry, partly because of how Imagined if I hadn't got here on time, my poor baby would of been abused and assaulted by the fucking prick, but i shouldn't of left her on her own, I was so fucking stupid.

She didn't stop crying and it broke my heart. I took of my shirt and put it over her head before putting it through her arms, finally being covered up I let her wrap her arms around my neck as I held her tight.

"Its okay baby, I promise, he won't hurt you again, no one will" I muttered kissing her forehead over and over again. She finally stopped crying, but her little sobs hadn't stopped. I rubbed her back trying to comfort her as she calmed down.

I pulled out my phone and texted Ryan to come get Jessi and take him to the warehouse were I'd finish him, myself.

I looked down at Gabi who was now sleeping against my chest, breathing slowly with tears dried on her cheeks. The doorbell rang so I carefully laid her down and went to answer the door. I opened it seeing Ryan and 2 others from my gang there.

"Hey man" Ryan yawned making me roll my eyes, he was never not tired.

"Were is he?" He asked. "Upstairs, my room. Get him outta here and to the warehouse and make sure he doesn't escape" I ordered letting them in.

They nodded before leaving upstairs, I went back to the living room to see Gabi was still fast asleep, I went over and kissed her forehead sighing, I can't believe that she had to go through this. I was even more angry now, the fact that I've killed Delgado, yet his gang are trying to start something between mine? No one was going even come near my girl without me knowing.
