Chapter 48

Gabriella's P.O.V.

I laughed as Conner tried to wave at me but failed because Damon walked out in front of him and stole Conner's drink that he had in his hand and started drinking it like normal.

Conner recently started this school and it was the first day that I had seen him since I, I had been gone...

"So when do you want to start on this project little one" Conner smirked sitting next to me.

"Whenever you want" I laughed resting my hand on the side of my head as I had my elbow on the table holding me up, I looked at him smiling. "Stop doing that" I grinned, he kept staring at me with this look, it was hard to describe.

"Doing what?" He joked winking at me.

"That! You're being a creep" I laughed shoving him. He shook his head chuckling before I looked back at the rest who were laughing about something.

After our free period was over we went back to lesson.

The bell rang dismissing us to go home, I got a text from Jason saying he was outside. I walked out of the building smiling at a couple people who said bye to me before approaching Jason who looked at me from head to toe with that smirk on his face. I shook my head blushing "You're so annoying" I whined he chuckled pulling me by my waist closer to him.

"And you're so sexy, damn" he muttered nuzzling his head in to my neck placing kisses. I moaned in his hair knwing he'd get turned on, it worked.

Pulling away "Gabriella, am I gonna have to punish you?" He asked raising his eyebrows I looked down at his lips and then up in to his eyes "Maybe" I replied smirking.

He bit his lip trailing his hand down my back and placing it on top of my ass gripping it he smirked at me before letting go "Later" he whispered before opening the door for me. I got in and sat down before he shut the door.

He got in on the other side and started up the car driving off.

We later arrived at Justin's warehouse that I rarely ever came to, more of his office that he barely ever took me to anymore. "Why have you brought me here?" I asked once we got out the car.

"I just gotta go sort something out, won't be long" he said, I nodded before his phone rang, he answered it and I waited leaning against the car "I'm outside... Yeah... Well why is it locked?... Okay... Bye" he ended the call and put his phone in his pocket.

"Who was that?" I asked looking up at him as he stood in front of me "Ryan, the warehouse is locked so he's gonna come now to open it for me, since I left my keys at home" he replied placing his hand on my neck whilst he caressed my cheek with his thumb.

"Now for that punishment..." He smirked moving his thumb over my bottom lip.

I gave him a look in amusement and he tilted his head go the side "What? You thought I was going to let you get away with turning me on when you know I can't do anything about it yet?" He said as if it were the most normal thing ever.

I laughed shaking my head, suddenly I heard a weird sound, almost like a distant ticking.

"What-" I was cut of by the loudest explosion sound ever, even though we were parked a distance from the warehouse the sound of an explosion went off, I screamed as the explosion sound rushed through my ears, Jason quickly moved covering my whole body but I heard him groan as behind us, the warehouse was on fire.

It was a bomb.

"Jason!" I cried as I looked down at his stomach seeing blood seeping through his shirt.

He groaned as I moved slightly seeing some glass from the warehouse windows had flew over and stabbed in to Jason's lower back.

"I'm fine... Just, get me in the car" he muttered out, I knew it was hurting him he just didn't like showing pain.

I nodded opening the door to the passenger seat and sitting him down he groaned his back hit the seat, I shut the door and got in the drivers side.

"Take my phone... Call Ryan and tell him what's happened" Jason said clutching his fist together as he tried to remain calm.

I took his phone out of his pocket and unlocked it. Going through Jason's contacts I clicked on Ryan's name, and called him. After he picked up I explained to him everything that happened and he told me to take him home. So I took him home, helping him out the car I led him inside and up the stairs.

"Call Hunter" he breathed out once he sat on the bed. I nodded picking up his phone and calling hunter who didn't pick up.

"He's not answering... Shall I just take you to the hospital?" I sighed placing my hand on his shoulder. He shook his head "No, they will ask too many questions, just find the first aid kit and take the glass out of my back, clean it up and get the bandage around it, I'll be fine" he muttered.

"But Jase-" he cut me off "Gabriella," he sighed looking up at me. I nodded walking in to the bathroom, rolling my eyes. I know I shouldn't be acting like this, but I just wanted to make sure he was being looked after properly, yeah, I could clean him up and all, but what if his cuts were too deep and he needed stitches? Sometimes Jason was too stubborn.

I walked out holding the kit, he was sat up, facing the other way and his shirt was stained with blood and ripped from the back.

I sat down "Take your shirt off" I whispered as I took out the tweezers to help me take out the flashes from his back. He pulled of his shirt and I took it, placing it on the floor for now.

"This may hurt" I said placing my hand on his shoulder from behind as I picked up the tweezers. The glass shards were pretty big and blood fell down on to the sheets however I was too focused and I didn't want to mess up.

I carefully pulled out one glass shards and he hissed "Sorry" I muttered, placing the glass to the side I took a wipe and cleaned up that one wound.

I then repeated that process until all the glass was gone.

I took out the bandage and rolled it out, wrapping it around his torso over the wound multiple times I felt him move my hair out of my face as I taped it so it stayed around his stomach.

"There" I mumbled, white proud that I was able to do that successfully.

"Thank you" he said, I looked up at him smiling, I leaned in pressing my lips against his.

I pulled away "Now what?" I asked caressing his cheek.

"Revenge baby girl"
