3: The Legal Wife

"Saan ka nanggaling?"

"Angel, pagod na ako." sabi ni Vice na dumiretso sa banyo ng room nila habang hinuhubad yung tie nito.

Angel followed him into the bathroom at kinuha ang kamay nito para sya na ang mag hubad ng tie ni Vice. She looked at him with curiosity in her eyes habang Vice bore his dull eyes into hers.

"How did the charity ball go?"

"Okay naman, what was your emergency ba? Bakit hindi ka nakadalo?" Angel placed the tie on the counter at sinunod naman ang pag u-undo ng butones ng shirt ni Vice.

"Nagalit ba mga investors dahil hindi ako nakarating?"

Angel chuckled a little bago pinaikot si Vice para mahubad nya ang shirt nito, "Ano ka ba, you're the President of the country, they understand naman busy ka. There are things that takes a higher priority than others, right?"

"Right." pag-agree na lang ni Vice at napalook away bago hubarin yung white vest nya in front of his wife.

Angel grabbed a wet towel at sinimulang punasan ang likod ni Vice, pero pinigilan agad ito ni Vice at kinuha yung towel mula sa first lady nya.

"Kaya ko na, matulog ka na... Sige na."

"Pero Vice, hayaan mo na akong pag silbihan ka. Ayun naman trabaho ko bilang first lady mo eh." sabi ni Angel with a sweet smile at kinuha ulit yung towel from Vice.

Wala ng nagawa si Vice kung hindi hayaan ito, pinanood nya ito through the huge mirror sa bathroom at hindi mapigilang ma-guilty dahil sa nangyari kanina.

"Angel... Salamat ha." sabi ni Vice out of the blue nung pinupunasan na ni Angel yung dibdib nya.

Angel wrapped her arms around his neck at lumapit para bigyan ng soft kiss si Vice sa labi nito. When Angel moved back, Vice leaned forward, enough to catch Angel's lips again. What started out as a gentle kiss became more and more passionate. Vice opened the shower door at dun na tinuloy ang pang ro-romansa sa first lady nya.

Two weeks later...

Kakatapos lang cabinet meeting ng pangulo kasama ng ibang members pa ng senado. He walked along the corridors ng Malacanang with his assistant and a couple of his PSG's in tow.

"Sir, you have ten minutes until you have to leave to be at the event for the retired police officers." sabi ni Billy habang nakatingin sa tablet kung nasaan naka schedule ang mga appointments ng presidente.

"Yeah, I'll be in my office until then." sabi ni Vice na pumasok sa opisina nya at sinarado ang pinto nito.

"Sir..." sabi ni Billy na kumatok.

"Billy, I just need ten minutes alone." request ni Vice.

"Sir, your wife is on the line for you." sabi ni Billy through the closed the door.

Vice walked around his huge mahogany desk at umupo sa upuan nya, sighing, he picked up the phone on his desk at may pinindot na button to put his wife's call through.

"Angel?" he said softly at ngumiti ng konti.

"Vice,sorry kung nakaka istorbo ako--"

"Hindi, okay lang. How's your day doing?"

"Okay naman, nasa Batangas ako ngayon for a charity event para sa mga elderly with alzheimer's disease.. Alam mo, sobrang nakakalungkot, but I don't think I'll ever get over how rewarding this is."

"Nice to hear na nag e-enjoy ka naman dyan." maikling sagot ni Vice at napaikot sa upuan nya to look out his window which had a large view of the river covering the palace.
