"Love?"

Napalingon naman si Vice at Karylle kung saan nanggaling yung boses. Bigla namang napalayo si Karylle kay Vice nung makita ang first lady nito na kabababa lang galing sa kotse kasama ang mga PSGs at asisstant nito.

"Oh, hello..." sabi ni Vice at lumapit sa asawa para batiin ito, he glanced back at Karylle bago binati ang asawa ng beso sa pisngi, "What are you doing here?"

Karylle crossed her arms at awkward na iniiwasan yung nasa harap nya ngayon. She saw Angel and Vice walking towards her through the corner of her eyes kaya naman she faked a smile.

"Hi, who are you?" tanong ni Angel with a sweet smile, pero kahit gaano pa kabait ang pinapakitang ngiti ni Angel ngayon, Karylle could see through the fakeness of it all.

"I'm Karylle..." Karylle said with confidence at nag hand shake sila ni Angel.

"Love, she's Attorney Karylle Tatlonghari... One of the Palace's best lawyer... New recruit lang from Forbes Associates."

"Ohhh... I see, I've met another lawyer from your team just today, Atty. De Castro, smart girl." kwento ni Angel na ni-wrap bigla ang kamay sa braso ni Vice while looking at Karylle as if she was trying to prove something.

"Wala ka bang events today?" tanong ni Vice na medyo na-tense sa ginawa ni Angel.

"I have a campaign and a dinner party to go to a bit later, free ako for this hour, do you want to get a late lunch?"

"I've already had lunch." sagot ni Vice with an apologetic smile, "At isa pa, we're kind of in the middle of something eh."

"Sorry, nakakaistorbo ba ako?" tanong ni Angel kay Vice with a smile bago lumingon kay Karylle with a raised brow.

"No, it's fine, spend this time with your wife... We can talk about this another time, Mr President." sabi ni Karylle na aalis na sana.

"Karylle... Wait lang." sabi ni Vice na hinatak yung braso ni Karylle bago ito makalayo. Agad namang lumayo si Karylle without being too obviou na may something sa action nyang yun.

"Angel, look, I'm really sorry..." sabi ni Vice na hinarap ang first lady nya sa kanya at tinitigan ito while kinakausap, "I'm sorry pero you know how much I've been wanting to implement this project for the street kids. Kailangan ko tong planuhin kasama si Atty Tatlonghari as soon as possible..."

Hinaplos ni Angel ang pisngi ni Vice bago ito halikan sa labi softly, "I understand, love."

"I'll see you." sabi ni Vice na binigyan ng quick hug si Angel before letting her go para makaalis na.

All the while, nakatayo lang sa isang gilid si Karylle at hinihintay na makaalis si Angel kasama ang convoy nitong mga PSGs.

"So..." sabi ni Vice sabay tingin kay Karylle with a soft smile, "Labs, shall we continue?"

"What did you just say?"

"Yung project I mean... Project Labs, diba?"

"Medyo inappropriate don't you think? Anyway, how about we talk details sa office na lang?" sabi ni Karylle na bumalik ang pagiging cold kay Vice.

Napansin naman ito agad ni Vice kaya binigyan nya ng isang tango si Karylle, "Sure, whatever you want."

"I'll meet you there na lang."

"No, ako na mag drive sa'yo."

"Mr President..." Karylle said with a warning tone.

Vice quickly snatched her car keys from her hands at sumakay sa driver's seat.
