Shane's P.O.V
Rebuffing my leather white shoes, I could see a little reflection of myself. I looked pretty tight if I say so myself.
"Selfish, much." my dad said as he leaned on the wall waiting for me to get ready.
I laughed at his remark. He always knew the right things to say at the right time. I took a deep breath and said,
"I'm just a bit..."
"Nervous?" he interrupted.
"Yeah" I admitted.
"Normal, for a sucker in love." he smirked. I looked at him astonished. How did he know? "I overheard y'all talking. Annnnd, I can see for myself what she does to you. She's a special girl. So...don't blow it" he laughed as he patted me on the back.
"I know. I won't. Thanks, Dad." I said. I would never intentionally hurt her. She's Ari for crying out loud.
"No problem. Now um let's get over to the house before your mom gets a hissy fit" he warned. I nodded in agreement.
As I followed him out of the room, Chase, Adam, and Jack were waiting for me, looking sleek.
"Bro let's go. You take as long as my sister!" Chase exclaimed.
"Shut up man! At least, I don't wear makeup!" as I pointed to Adam.
"It's man lotion that makes my skin shine bright!!" Adam retorted.
"Yeah shine bright like a diamondddd!! " Jack chimed in.
We all busted out laughing.
"Let's go! We don't wanna keep our ladies waiting do we?" Uncle Mark said as he winked at me. Knowing I'm a bit nervous.
"Yeah, and Adam..." Uncle Gary said.
"Yeah?" he asked.
"You got a little man makeup on your tux." Uncle Gary cackled. We all then busted up laughing and headed out the door.
"It's man lotion dad! Man lotion!" as Adam closed the door behind him.
