"So what are we doing for Thanksgiving this year?" I asked my boyfriend.

"I don't know. All I know is that we are not going to invite anyone from SVU," he looked at me.

"Why not?" I furrowed my brow.

"You know what happens every time we get together!" he laughed, "Somehow a case comes up and being the heroes that they are, they chase after it!"

I scratched my head, "That does seem kinda convenient."

"Besides," he continued, "Thanksgiving isn't even that special anymore. Christmas ruined it."

"How dare you!" I jumped up, "Thanksgiving is still important! Sure, it celebrates that start of a friendship that was definitely one-sided, but you can eat a whole bunch of food and no one gives a shit because they are too busy napping or stuffing their faces some more."

He smiled, "Any one ever tell you that you should be a lawyer?"

I rolled my eyes, "Ha ha, very funny."

"C'mon, you know that I meant it as a joke," he rubbed my leg.

I smacked his hand away, "Speaking of lawyers, don't you have a case to work on?"

"No," Rafi pulled me down onto the couch, "I finished up early Friday, just for you."

"Aw, it's so cute that you think that line is going to get you somewhere," I grinned.

"It's always worked in the past," he kissed me.

"Well, this is the present," I kissed back.

"And it's still working," he said.

"A little," I wrapped my arm around his neck.

Someone rang the door bell.

"Dammit," Rafi murmured.

He walked to the door and opened it. Sonny was standing there and he looked nervous. He walked right in without asking.

"Something wrong Sonny?" I asked.

"Yeah, um, you need to look at this," he pulled pulled an envelope out of his jacket.

Y/N was on the front.

"We busted a guy who uh...was watching you," Sonny explained, "He abducted 3 other girls. You were suppose to be the 4th."

"What?! You never told me that he was stalking me?!" I shouted.

"We needed to catch him!" Sonny suddenly got very defensive, "Yes, it put your life in danger, but we caught him! You didn't get hurt! That's all that matters!"

"You could have at least told me!" It was now Rafael's turn to scream.

"We should have, but we didn't know how you would react. It wasn't worth the risk," Sonny slowly back away towards the door, which Rafi left open.

"You should g-"

"Who was the guy?" I cut Rafi off.

"Some homeless man, he said that you gave money to him often. His name was Harold Stone," Sonny answered.

"I invited him into my house for St. Patrick's day one time!" I thought out loud.

"Thankfully he didn't hurt you then," Sonny was now in the doorway, "I really have to go now. Bye."

With that he closed the door. Barba and I stood there shocked for what seemed like ages.

He eventually spoke up, "Can I see the photos?"

I silently handed him the envelope. I hadn't yet looked at the photos. I didn't want to look at the photos.

"I don't think you'll want to look at these pictures-"

"You're right, I don't," I stared at the ground.

"-but you will have to testify against him. You can look on your own time, but there's photos of you at the library, the coffee shop, and even my office."

He gritted his teeth, "There's one of you in the shower. You can see everything."

"Oh god!" I started to cry.

Rafi immediately dropped the photos.

"It's okay Y/n, he won't hurt you. I will send him to jail." he rubbed my back.

I looked up at Barba, "P-please, I love you."

"I love you too, calm down now, I've got you," he lead me towards the bedroom.

"Right now isn't the time for this," I joked, trying to make myself feel better.

"I know," he chuckled, "Just lay down. I'll turn on the TV and we can just relax, okay?"

I nodded my head.

Everything was going to be fine. Everything was always fine when I was with Rafi.
