You sit in the room alone. You grew depressed. You are dave strider, the bringer of bad luck, and the boy you crushed on was getting the full force of it. "John, you bastard... wake up already... this is not funny anymore some witch lady said you're here watching but... i know its some bullshit" you growl. " the doctors dont care. they only care about their fucking checkbook." You added, looking at his face. it looked stressed out and that just made your heart feel heavy. You felt the warmth of his hand for most of the night it made you extremely comfortable. Its weird; the man who used to scare you so much is now bringing you comfort. You just wanted to be wrapped in this feeling. Hours ticked by until you found your warm feeling gone. Karkat, sollex, jake, dirk and jade walk in. You smile at them all they all look like a sick puppy. The doctors follow in behind them. " no...no no you can't do this " dave defended you. You accept that this is what you will be.... Just a ghost. unseen and unheard but ever present in the world. They doctor's start taking tubes out of your body. The last was the life support. You glance around the room to see everyone. Jade was alone. Jake hid in Dirk's chest and Dave just watched with a look of anger? Sadness? Both? You couldn't tell. Sollux was holding Karkat. You smile as soon as the doctor puts his hand around cored then it hits you. You didn't wanna die... Not this way i mean you have yet to go to your high school prom. Or find a job... or a lover. You finally found someone who likes you and you were not about to give this up. Dave steps over to the bed and leans down kissing your lips as the doctor pulls the plug.
