"Oh fuck oh fuck... Bro, we fucked up big time i mean couldn't you have just called the prison and asked for jake". You said as you pace around your room. This warden was trying to make sure you all were dead by the end of this week and guess was day it is!? 5:00 am on Friday morning. They said the oldest will go first, and of course -- that's Dirk. He was due to be executed at 7. Jake was silent looking at the guards. " ARE you two even worried?! Bro, you're about to die!" You yepled. Dirk looks at you. " yeah, i'm worried. we all are. " dirk says calmly. A guard walks over " lets go, dirk strider. You don't get a last meal, so don't ask. Warden's orders." he unlocks and opens the door. Dirk got up and walked to him. The man handcuffs him and pushed him out. You desperately tried to follow your brother, but the guard slams the gate shut in your face and smirks at you . "Wait your turn." he said, amused, like it was some sort of sick game. "its 2 hours too early for his execution." You said almost growling. " oh yeah, about that... The warden pushed it up. Your execution is at 7 am, Mr. English is at 6 am, and your brother's is right now... Oh, but dont worry" he pushed dirk away down the hall. "BAAAASTARRRD!!!" you screamed. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!" You paced around your cell even faster now. The 30 minutes passed like hours. The guard came back . "Dave Strider? Your execution has been switched with Jake Englis. It's time to get you ready" he said with a sly smirk that made you angry. "Oh, dont worry; you will get a front row seat to your brother's death" he put the key in the cell door and turned it slowly. You ball up your fist. Everything felt like it was slow. You were so mad that adrenaline was pumping through your veins. You went to move but Jake was across the room. In a second, his arm was through the bar and around the mans head. He pulled hard, making the mans face hit the bars and falls over. Jake opened the gate, dragged the guard in, and stripped him of his clothing. "Look away." He said and you do so. A minute passed ." Okay, let's go" jake said you look and he was dressed in the officers outfit and the officer was in jakes uniform on the bench facing the wall. Jake pulls the hat over his eyes and got the cuffs putting them on you in a way where they aren't locked but looked like they are. He pushed you out of the cell. He walked you down the hall. "Yo jake easy on the pushing" you whispered but he just pushed you more i guess he had to make it look real. We got to a door and he took out a key card and put it in. The door opens and you walk in. Dirk was tide up on a metal bed. There was an officer putting the needle in his arm. " oh Steven you got the other strider brother. good. The warden wants him to watch for some reason. I don't really know why... oh can you turn the machine on so when its time the poison gets injected?" He asked jake stays quiet and continues to walk over. "Steven?" He turns around and came in contact with your fist falling back. Jake frantically started to undo dirks bindings . " finally! You two sure took your time, didn't you?". Dirk took the needle out his arm and sat up. " we need to-" jake was in the middle of saying when the guard that dave punched pressed a little button under the bed and guards were flooding into the room with their guns drawn. " fuck.." you said under your breath backing up. Jake and dirk also backed up with you. This was bad really bad. " stand down or die" a guard yelled. You all flinch but didnt stand down. You clear your throat and exhaled. " fine... We'll do this the hard way then. men READY " he yelled all the guns clicked. This was like a firing squad execution. Jakes hold on dirks arm got a bit tighter. The man was about to yell fire but the warden came in. "WAIT DONT SHOOT DONT FUCKING SHOOT". He yelled and everything stopped. "dont shoot ..." he pushed his way in " jake english. ....dirk strider. ...dave strider you are all free. All of your charges have been dropped and you're all due for a discharge. all your personal belongings will be at the gate for you please come with me". He said . "....what?" All three of you said in unison. "You're free to go now come on before i tell them to fucking fire" he growls and you all didn't question it. you just follow him. He takes you to the front of the prison where they hand you bags of your stuff and the clothings you had on when you were arrested. They were washed and folded which was odd but you all change into them. Jake had on cargo shorts and boots with a back shirt on with a green skull on it. Dirk clearly like how his ass looked in the shorts. Dirk was just in black jeans and a white shirt. You had your broken record shirt on with black skinny jeans. You and your brother both put on your sunglasses and smirk. " get out" the warden said as he opens the prison doors you all three walk out with the bags thrown over your shoulder. Jake squints getting his eyes to adjust to the sun. You all walk out as free men and stop when john was waiting with a car. He smiled and waved " hey! He said with a goofy smile. You all blink at him and walk over. John smiles and hugs you then jake and nods at dirk. " lets go " he got in the driver seat " what are you doing you cant drive" jake said. " um actually i got my drivers license 4 weeks ago. ... the police people taught me and made me learn it and let me barrow this car to drive to school with" he smiled. everyone didn't question it and got in. The ride was quiet. " okay the elephant in the room is why the hell are we out?" Dirk said bluntly. " ya we were about to be fucking shot and they just up and let us go? " you added and jake looked at john who's hands tighten around the wheel. "....john" jake said. "What did you do" he added. "....well...." john said softly " i was in the safe house for awhile. Karkat would come see me and well he knew of your plan to break out and was planning to help you. Main reason why you got so far. Normally they have many more guards and you all would have been caught with in 30 minutes...so i got worried about you all and for the 2 months you all planned i tried to um....find a way to get you out and the only way i could find was... um the police captain and his wife....and boyfriend . ..." he said shyly. Your eyes widen. "...john....you blackmailed the warden?!" You yelled shocked and clearly everyone was to. "...ya.. he um well was living down the street from me and was able to get some things like pictures of him and his wife and then him and his boyfriend. ... sollux told me a few thing that i can make it so i the email wouldn't be able to be tracked like at all and a computer timer where it will send the pictures to the wife and boyfriend well if he didn't clear all your files and set you go his kids and lovers would find out about his secret....also he has hepatitis C that he is hiding as well so........ya.." john said with a sigh. There was a long pause " bloody hell dave your a bad influence on john". Jake said with a laugh . "Who the hell knew you had it in you to do something illegal" dirk said laughing hard. " OH shut up all of you " john said huffing and pulling up to the house. " here we are " john said with a smile
