Day 6: Write a scene where you absolutely love the outfit one of the characters is wearing.

I stood in front of the mirror, suddenly nervous. How could I ever agree to go on a date with the most popular guy at school? It was probably just a dare or a project to him. I mean, what could he see in me? I'm too pale and my face and body are merely average.

I jumped slightly as the doorbell rang. I took one more glance at my outfit, which consisted of a floral dress that went to my mid-thigh and had a tight bodice. For shoes I had woven brown wedges and I had a light off-white sweater over top. Overall, I was pretty proud of my outfit of choice for tonight.

I hurried down the stairs, making sure not to trip and embarras myself. My mom had already answered the door and seemed to be making small chit chat with Drew. He laughed and smiled at something she said before his eyes landed on me. He seemed astounded at first, but quickly recovered.

As I came to stand next to him, he said,"You look beautiful Andrea. I never thought a girl as pretty and smart as you would ever agree to a date with me."

That was the moment that I knew that this date was going to turn out amazing.
