Perfect. The seven letter word that means something different to everyone who has ever muttered it. It was one of those words that has the ability to adapt to any and every situation. Some may choose to use it in its generic 'good as it will ever possibly get' form. But if you're anything like the cocky Adonis beside me, you're likely to give the word a sarcastic undertone. One so subtle that for a second you thought it may actually be it's generic counterpart. But no. His definition of perfect was far from the average meaning. It was leaning more towards the  ' I like seeing you frustrated so i'll continue to be a pain in your ass' meaning.

Not only was it evident that his definition of 'perfect' was far from normal, but his perception of a 'date' was also up for debate.

"And that's a wrap!" the director yelled clapping his arms together. That's right the director. Not only was i coaxed into believing that this was a real date , although i'm not complaining, but Maluma had the audacity to bring me to the final scene of his video shoot for his new song  La Curiosidad .

So in essence, i spent approximately and hour and a half witnessing the constant swapping of spit and other intimate behavior while scarfing down miniature sandwiches from the catering table. It was truly a  perfect date.

But hey, i wasn't complaining. I've already had a theory that some how i only attracted douches and this just cemented this theory into my file of facts. This also gave me the opportunity to shove down a slice of  'I told you so" cake down Shakira's throat. There's no better feeling than being right while you sister was wrong.

"So how'd you enjoy our date?" Maluma asked as he turned the ignition on in the car.  A knowing smirked crept its way onto his face. I rolled my eyes at him without giving him a reply. Instead, i watched the busy Barcelona streets, taking in the nightlife scenery.

We continued to drive until i felt the car stop. I looked before me to see that we were parked in front of the restaurant,Tast-Ller. I furrowed my brows out of curiosity then looked at Maluma for a brief moment. To my surprise, he was staring right back at me with a smile on his face.

"What are we doing here?" i asked, bringing my eyes back to the restaurant.

Without replying he got out of the car and opened my door.

I looked at him in disbelief. After what had happened earlier, i really wasn't in the mood to do anything else with him, ever again.

"No thanks" i said grabbing the car door in order to close it back but Maluma refused.

"What do you mean no thanks? Our night isn't finished as yet!"  he said, getting closer to me.

"Yeah but I am finished, and i want to go home,"I muttered without looking at him.

"Louisa don't be like that" he replied, gliding the back of his hand against my cheek, stroking it, "Aren't you hungry?" he asked.

I finally looked at him. His once overconfident demeanor was now overshadowed by timidness.

"I ate enough mini sandwiches to last me until about 12. "

A hearty chuckle greeted my ears. I watched as his timidness morphed into string of melodious laughter. The heat from his fingers infiltrated my consciousness. He laced his fingers between mine and proceeded to drag me out of the car as his laughter died down. He pulled me into him, making us only a few inches a part.

"Something tells me that you didn't like our perfect date"  he muttered, resting his head in the crook of my neck.

"Like it!" i exclaimed, my voice laced with sarcasm,"it was absolutely lovely ".

Because of how close we were, i felt the vibrations of his body as his angelic laughter  filled the air once more. He pulled away from my neck, revealing the most adorable facial expression. He took a step back as his laughter increased.

"Well maybe this restaurant wasn't such a good idea then, since you had so much fun at the video shoot. This would be such a downgrade" he said in between laughs. Surprisingly, a small smile crept onto my face. I should've been seething anger after what had happened earlier, but technically it wasn't his fault the director had to push forward the date and time of the video shoot due to personal reasons. But still, knowing the real reason why i was in that predicament  didn't take away the amount of annoyance and hatred i felt two hours ago.

"Is that a smile i see?" Maluma asked stepping backwards in disbelief. "For the first time tonight ladies and gentlemen , Louisa Mebarak smiled at me!" he shouted, loud enough for passersby  to glance at us. With outstretched arms , he threw his hands in the air as a sign of victory.

"You're so overdramatic" I said as i rolled my eyes playfully.

"But you like it " he said stepping closer to me.

"You're so quick to assume things" I countered, stepping back a bit to increase the space between us.

"I'm not assuming, i know "  The space I made between us proved to be useless as he quickly closed the gap between us, wrapping his arms around me in the process.

"How about we try this again. Right now. Just pretend that the last two hours didn't happen" he said before i could reply.

As much as i wanted to go home and forget about what had happened, i couldn't bring myself to say no to him. I nodded my head in agreement.

"Great!" he exclaimed,"lets get back in the car". I watched as he hopped back into the drivers seat and secured his seat-belt. I glanced back at the restaurant before getting into the passengers side.

"What about the restaurant?" i asked as we pulled out of the driveway.

"You're not gonna have your perfect date at a restaurant. I refuse to let that happen." With that he flashed me a huge smile, making me return one as equally big.

About half and hour later had passed when the car came to a stop. He quickly got out of the car then opened my door.  He stretched out his arm so i could take it as i stepped out of the car. He locked the car doors then lead me to a familiar scenery.  The salty air that i love so much filled my nostrils. I smiled as my eyes were graced with the calm moving waves, reflecting the moonlight.

Maluma smiled widely then pointed towards a small tent with a bonfire in front of it . "That's our spot" he declared, his smile widening. "Race you  there?" he asked, raising his brows. I looked down at my heels then back at him.

"One second"  i quickly removed my heels and held them in my hand. I looked back at him for a split second then ran off before him. Before he  realized what had happened i was already half way there. I punched my arms in the air as i reached the tent first but Maluma was close behind.

"Thank you so much for playing fair" he breathed, resting his arm on the side of the tent.

"Talk about unfit" I said as i playfully poked his side.

"I'll let that one slide since i have to make up for earlier" he said with a smile on his face as he walked into the tent.

"Its because you know I'm right" i said as i followed behind him. A small gasp escaped my lips as i took in everything.

A small table with picnic baskets containing food on it. I watched as Maluma flopped down on the pillows surrounding the table and patted the space beside him.

I placed my shoes on the sand the followed his actions.

"Does this make up for earlier?" he asked hopefully as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"We'll see" I replied flashing him a small smirk.
