There were somethings in life that seemed to have no explanation. Like ,for instance, the reason why my love life always seemed to be more complicated than the hardest math equation. Despite our heartfelt kiss, Maluma and I had decided that it would be better to start our relationship after his little publicity stunt. As one would imagine, I wasn't too happy with the decision but it would be so much better than to be his girlfriend while he sucks the face of another for the cameras.

I was able to convince him that I was okay with the decision but Shakira,on the other hand, knew better. She sighed as she watched me play with my melting chocolate/chili ice cream.

"I told you not to order that one" she said, taking the bowl away from me. I watched as she left to the table and emptied its contents then went over to the cashier once more. I thought I could eat that ice cream despite knowing that it was reason Maluma and I met in the first place but as per usual, I was wrong. A few minutes later Shakira returned with a vanilla and strawberry sundae and placed it in front of me.

"Now you better eat that, or else " She said firmly, sliding the bowl closer towards me. I let out a soft sigh then picked up my spoon. I began eating when a familiar face entered the ice cream parlour. Shakira glanced at what I was looking at then turned her attention back to her ice cream.

"You know him?" she asked when she realized that the guy was now staring at us. I lightly nodded my head then gave him a small wave.

"He's my employee" I stated as a crooked smile made its way onto his face. He waved back at us then joined the line to order.

"Oh employee, huh?" I snapped my head towards her just in time to see her wiggle her eyebrows. I rolled my eyes at her actions then threw my napkin at her.She giggled a bit then went back to eating.

"Speaking of employee, what are you gonna do about Neymar?" she questioned casually, placing a spoon full of ice cream in her mouth. I cocked my head to the side and furrowed my eyebrows together.

"What does that have to do with Neymar?" I questioned, trying to figure out how the two were connected.

"Nothing. I just didn't know how to bring him up" she stated calmly, placing another spoonful of ice cream into her mouth. I shook my head at her logic then let out my millionth sigh.

"Nothing I guess"

"Nothing? Don't you think I deserve a little bit more than nothing?"

I flashed my head to the side to see Neymar standing beside me with Davi by his side.To say that I was surprised would be an understatement. I was downright close to wetting my pants. My attention turned to Shakira and gave her a skin curdling glare. She quickly averted her attention to Neymar so that she could escape my gaze.

"Hey Neymar, hey Davi!" she exclaimed, "What a surprise!" My glare towards her intensified as they engaged in conversation. I slowly turned my head towards Neymar who kept glancing at me during his conversation. They both had ice cream cones in their hands which was why Davi was mostly quiet as his cone got most of his attention.

"So how about you Lou? Got any plans for tonight?" he questioned, forcing me to actually pay attention to the conversation. I reluctantly said no which made him smile a bit.

"Well its settled then. I'll see you guys at the club tonight"  Wait, what? A club? With that said he flashed us both a smile then made his way out of the parlour with Davi by his side. I flashed my head towards Shakira with a look of pure confusion on my face.

"Club?" I asked, my voice laced with both confusion and surprise.

"Club." she replied, shooting me a wide ,toothy grin. " And yes you have to go" she said before I even got the chance to object. For the first time in my life, I wasn't in the mood to argue with my sister. I was too emotionally and physically tired. Maybe it was the fatigue that made me find some joy in going to the club as negative thoughts drained my of my energy.

"You're gonna like it Lou. It will get you're mind off things"

I shockingly nodded my head in agreement and muttered four words I thought I would never say to her.

"I guess you're right"
