"Pancakes?" You ask mum

"How'd you know!?" She jokes

"Um, because you always make pancakes" yiu say with my sassy tone

"Oh" she says "well enjoy kids" she says and goes back to what she's doing in the kitchen, you swear, she never leaves it.

After Corey, River and yourself had breakfast, and light talking Corey said to us

"Hey, I better be off, I don't want mum or dad to, well, you know" his expression always changes when it it comes to his abuse, his eyes seem so dark and his face so sad.

"Ok babe, I'll walk you out" you say, leaving the table with your plate and dishes, and going over to the kitchen, with Corey doing the same

"Thank you Laina, it was wonderful, but I have to go now" Corey thanks my mum, I swear she loves corey, he's the only kid that appriciates what your mum does

"Thank you for saying thank you Corey" she smiles, taking our plates to the sink (yes, I dont have a dish washer, I still have to wash the dishes after dinner )

"Ok, bye Laina" Corey says to mum

"Bye Corey, see you soon" she says and Corey and you walk to the front door

"Hey babe, thanks for everything you did last night, it was so nice, I'll have to return the favour sometime, like anything you want, I promise" he says

You take his hand and tell him "just don't leave me Corey, I need you, I need you like you need me, you have no idea" you plead

"Babe, for you, anything" he says, pulling you against him and holding you close, wrappingvhis arms around you tight "anything, always" he whispers, running his hand through your beautiful h/c hair

"Thank you Corey" you say, almost crying at his sweetness

"Ok baby, I got to go" he says, letting you go "I love you y/n" he says

"I love you too Corey" you say to him, he kisses you softly on the lips

"Call me" you say as he walks off the porch

"Ok babygirl" he smiles and walks into his house

"Hey River, what are we gonna do today?" I ask him as I wall back into the dining room

"Well, I got to go down to the" he starts, then pauses "mall" the word sounds as if it was choked out of him

"Ok, I'm coming with you" I say

"Ok, as long as you don't mind if my friends join us" river says

I remember the conversation in the car on the way to the hidden lake with River
'You know half of my friends want to fuck you'

"I remember what you told me a few days ago" I say slowly "oh well, I'm still coming"

"Ok get changed y/n" River says, and you go into your room.
