~Flirting With Death~

A drag of your cigarette, puffing, swirling smoke like a moan.

You shudder as its hits your nose, a thick and musky cologne.

His razor blade hanging from your neck.

Once scarring your tender wrists with a peck.

Flirting with death, a lesser travelled path.

If you tempt him, that breath might be your last.

That pain, a pleasure so dark and sweet.

Your climaxing body slumping in a heap.

The crimson liquid pools, and you anxiously await

for your true love to twist what once had been your fate.

You hear him call you, hair prickling on your arms.

He's taking you away from your self-enflicted harm.
