Richelle's pov
Today I wake up and realise it's my birthday! I check my phone to see my birthday messages but I don't have any. The only message I have is one from my grandma which says "Could you get me some milk on your way home?" I can't believe that no one remembered my birthday, not even Noah. Noah is my best friend and I can't believe that he didn't remember.
My mum walks into my room.
"Good morning sweetie. Dance is in an hour! Get up!" She says.
Really? My mum didn't even remember?
I have a shower, put on my dance clothes and walk downstairs to go and get breakfast. I look at the table and see that it's filled with presents.
"Happy birthday Richelle!" My parents shout and hug me.
"Thank you so much." I say and smile.
I guess they did remember.
After I eat breakfast and open my presents, I walk out of the door and see Noah standing there. He always walks me to the studio.
"Hey." He says.
"Hi. Today's exciting isn't it?" I ask as I start walking with him.
"Yeah! We get to work with the J troupers!" He says.
"Um yeah." I say.
I really thought that he would have remembered.
"Anything else happening? Something special?" I ask.
"Nope." He replies.
"Oh ok." I say.
Noah's pov
I know it's Richelle's birthday today and me and the rest of A troupe have a surprise party planned for her.
"So how was your morning?" I ask.
"Ok I guess." She says..
I feel kind of bad making my best friend sad but when she sees what we all did for her, I know she'll be happy.
We arrive at the studio and we walk into studio A.
"Why's it so dark in here?" Richelle asks.
"Why don't you turn on the light?" I ask.
She turns it on.
"Surprise!" A troupe shouts.
"What?" Richelle asks and smiles.
"Happy birthday Richelle." I say and give her a hug.
"Thank you! I thought that you'd all forgotten!" She says.
"I think that we'd better eat the cake before West eats it all." Riley says with a laugh.
"Where is West?" James asks.
Then West runs into studio A with a hat.
"Richelle, I just came back from Narnia ,which is inside the costume closet, and I brought you this hat." He says and passes her a white hat.
We all laugh.
"Thanks West." She says and takes the hat.
"Oh there's cake over there." West says.
"Let's have some cake!" Richelle says and everyone cheers.
As we're eating cake, Richelle walks over to me.
"Did you plan this all along?" She asks.
"Yes." I say and smile.
"Thanks Noah." She says and hugs me.
Kate puts some music on and we all start dancing. We start tricking and doing acro everywhere and it's really fun.

This was the best birthday ever.
