Liam was there first. I walk into my house and Liam was talking with my mom in the living room.

"Hey baby" mom greeted me with a smile.

"I got a job at Harkins my first day is tomorrow. I just have to do someone paperwork to finalize it and that's it, then I'm coming home" I said walk over to where Liam was sitting and sit on the arm of the couch next to him, he wraps an arm around my hips his hand lazily falling on my lap.

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked.

"Oh just about school that's all" Liam said smiling mom.

"Yeah Liam was telling me about the grades he's getting and how lacrosse is coming along" mom smiles back at Liam.

"Oh cool. I asked Liam to homecoming with a homecoming proposal at school today" I said wrapping my arm around his shoulders and pulling him over.

"Oh you did what did you do?" she asked and got all giddy. She seems kind of weird to me right now, like she's hiding something. She's never really interested in what I do, or maybe she's trying to get more involved in my life.

"I had our friends hold up some posters that spelled out homecoming with a question mark. Stiles was holding home, Scott was holding coming and Mason was holding the question, I gave him some flowers too" Liam kissed my arm and smiled up at me. "Where are those flowers anyway?"

"They're in my backpack."

"That is so cute, I remember my homecoming. I went with my best girlfriends, we didn't have boys ask us so we went together and we had so much fun" she smiled and sighed. "Well I have to go to the store and get some bathroom necessities. Did you need anything babe?" She asked me and she was gathering her purse and keys.

"No" I stood up then Liam. Mom gave me a kiss on the cheek then left living room and went to the garage.

"Come on" I grabbed his hand we went upstairs to my room.

"I don't think I have ever been in your room before" Liam looked around the room. "What do you want to do after high school?" he asked me as he looked at some junk on my dresser drawer. He sits at my desk chair.

"I don't know. I know I want to be a professional lacrosse player in the future. But I don't know about college though, I know thats bad since I'm a senior an all" I sit down at the end of my bed. "What about you? Do you know what you want to do after high school?"

"No not really. Not college and not my future career" he turns around and looks at me.

"When you were a kid what did you want to be?" I lean back my arms supporting my upper body.

"I don't know. I really never got interested in something to love."

"What about lacrosse?"

"I love lacrosse but I'm not very good at it."

"What are you talking about you are amazing at lacrosse!" I started to laugh.

"No I'm not, not like you" Liam gestured to me.

"Thats because I have been playing for a very very long time."

It was silent for a bit "How do not let what the kids say about us not get to you?" Liam asked a serious tone in his voice.

"My old school was worse than this one." I sigh and lay back.

"What did they do?"

"They didn't start with name calling or throwing food on me but they used to harass my mom and me in public. Post offensive photos, like photoshoping me doing you know stuff, beat me up after school. Trashed my car, vandalize my car with dicks all over it" Liam comes to my bed and lays beside me with his hand propping his head up. "They would would call my house in the middle of the night and tell my mom that I was a fag or whatever" Liam grabs my hand and kisses it. "Got threats of people wanting to kill me and so on. I never wanted to show my face to anyone ever again. I wanted to stay in my room until I died." I close my eyes, a tear slid down the side of my face and Liam wiped it away.
