#3 - Mr and Mrs Wright

I enter the house to be approached by Mr Wright,

"You! Why is my daughter crying?!" He yells at me.

"I don't know.. I just got home from schoo--"

"Oh you're no use,"

I roll my eyes and head upstairs to my shared bedroom with Abella and Kayla.

"What'd Mr Wright accuse you of this time?" Kayla lays flat on her bed.

"Leona crying."

"Ugh, Leona.." Abella rolls her eyes.

"Tell me about it,"

Lauren runs in the room, "E-Elena!"

I sit up, "Yes?"

"Mrs Wright y-yelled at me for not serving Leona h-her food."

I glare out the door, "She what?! Ugh that woman, don't worry Lauren, I'll fix that lady up in her pl--"

"Elena calm down, we can't do anything about them and you know it."

"So what?!"

Kayla interrupts, "We're staying at their house, for all I know.. They can kick us out just like that."

"Oh only if I had my powers--"

"Elena enough."

I roll my eyes, "Where's Faith?"

"She's in her room."

Leona enters the room, "Hey losers, Elena, my mum and dad wanna talk to you."

"Why you bi--"

"Of course! Elena, go talk to them." Abella stands up.

I follow Leona to the kitchen where I see Mr and Mrs Wright.

"Leona's 16th birthday is this Saturday, and I want you to cook all the party food."

"W-what?! But I have a project to work on!"

"Well isn't that sad? Now hurry up! Tomorrow you will start cooking, understood?"

"Ugh! Fine."

"Good, now get back to your room."

Back in the bedroom...

"What'd they want?"

"Leona's 16th birthday, catering.. Ugh, if I had my power I could just freeze everything."

"Remember Ele--"

"Yea yea."

I get a group call from Emery and Kiera.

"Hey guys."

"Elena! Is it true that Grayson is your partner for the project?!"

"Oh shoot.. I need his address! I need to be there in... 10 minutes!"

I jump up, "Emery, do you know his address?"

"Calm down, it's Grivendale Drive 4."

"Thanks!"

I hang up.

"So.. Who's Grayson?" Abella glares at me.

"No one, I need to get going.. Bye!"

Abella sighs, "Think she's falling for him?"

"Uh, yea, but isn't that like forbidden for us to fall in love with a human?"
