#13 - Five million dollars

The machine lets out all noises as 5 million dollars shows up on the screen.

Everyone around me claps as I grab the ticket and head to the counter.

Grayson was out of my mind, for now at least.

The cashier gives me a check for 5 million dollars and I grab it, stuffing it in my jeans.

I begin to look around for Grayson.

No sign of him.. Where could he have gone?
If I can get 5 million dollars in less than an hour.. How can he disappear in less than one minute..

I had scanned the whole inside, I walk outside and walk around the building, I hear voices and I immediately hide behind a tree, thank god for a perfect view of this scene.

"Well Grayson.. You really think ditching me will make your problems better?"

I see a blonde girl smirk as she runs her fingers on his lips.

Another brunette smirks as she handcuffs him to the gate,
"You ain't going anywhere, Graysie."

They honestly look like hookers.

"Tori, I told you.. I have moved on, you ignored me for ages! I thought we were done."

She laughs, "Ignore you? We never broke up! How could you think we were done?"

Anger raged inside me when I heard Tori's name.. Ugh that girl.

She pushes him with force and he leans against the wall.

"Well, Kailey.. Bring out our lovely Elena!"

I jump up to shock as I feel two arms push me on the floor in the open.
She grabs me and keeps a hold.

"How stupid do you think we are, Elena?"

"Do you want my honest opinion?"

She rolls her eyes, "Get the 5 million."

"What? No! Get off me!"

The brunette searches my jeans and grabs the check.

"That was for something very important!" I yell.

She rolls her eyes, "If I can't have Grayson, then I won't let any other skank get to him!"
She pulls out a gun and shoots Grayson.

I throw my hand up in force and the bullet freezes in thin air.

She yelps in shock, "W-what?!"

I stand up and clench my hand to a fist, her gun catches fire and explodes away.

I turn around and freeze the brunettes hands, I grab the check off her.

I then walk towards Grayson and melt the handcuffs.

"I believe my job here is done? Am I correct girls?"

I laugh and walk back to my house, Grayson follows me.

I visit the hospital and sit at the side of Leona's bed.

"Leona.. What would make you happy?"

"Maybe if.. My parents cared about me.."

"What about.. 5 million dollars for your surgery?"

"B-but the surgery is only 5 thousand.."

"The rest is in your bank account, when I.. Leave.. You'll have that."

"Okay nope, I am not taking 5 million dollars off you! You cannot make me."

"Well oops.. Last time I checked.. There was 5 million dollars in your bank account.. I wonder how that got there?"

A curve forms on her lips and she hugs me, she pulls me in a force and hugs me.

I hug her back and smile.

"Thank you, Elena.."

"It's no problem, now.. When does your surgery begin?"

She chuckles, "When they get the money."

I stand up, "I'll be.. Right back." I laugh and run to the front desk.

Leona giggles, "When did I ever hate that girl.."

I had given the money to the front desk and they were getting Leona ready for the surgery.

"I'll see you in a few hours Elena!"

"Alright, I'll be here,"

And off she goes into the room for the surgery..
