#20 - Two Clones

"I. Will. Not. Let you destroy Earth!!"
I yell and force my anger into the power ball.

Streaks of ice make their way into the fire ball.

"W-what's going on..!?" Leona yells as she feels herself fading.

"You are going to die right now, Leona!" I yell.

She lets go of her power and my fire and ice ball surrounds her,
"P-please, Elena! It doesn't have to be this way! Let me say something!"

I push my hand more forward as the streak of fire and ice surrounds her in a style.
"You got one minute." I say.

She breathes in, "I-I'm you.."

I stop the patterns surrounding her and they freeze, staying in their place.
"What do you mean.."

"I'm the evil version of.. You.."
"When we were being chosen on our physical and spiritual form, the gods chose us as the same person.. But different physical forms.."

"So.. You're me.. But evil.. And I'm you.. But good?"

"Exactly, and the mission for us was to kill the other clone."

"Good, then this will be fun."
I let the patterns suck the power out of her, and slowly..
She begins to fade, her skin disappears..

Leona was gone.. My clone for god knows how many years,
Was gone.

The world lightens up, the sky turns blue.
The tree's come back.
No more shadow morphs.. Or dark shadows.
Everyone turns out of their form.
Me, Emery, Kiera, Grayson.. And my sisters.
We looked human.. But weren't.

Everyone who was at the party.. Were still at the party.

My mum smiles, "I knew I'd have to remove some people's memory."

"You removed their memory?" Abella laughs.

"Oh only the humans."
She turns to Emery, Grayson and Kiera.
"You're one of us now, in Earth."

Kiera nods and they smile.

Well.
Emery, Kiera and Grayson, were one of us.. They were no longer human.
Which was good!
Now we finally understand.. That all humans..
Aren't humans.

I look at the people in the party and scan their power.

Every person in the room was an element.. They just haven't learned how to fulfil their power, or use it.. Or identify it.
But Emery, Kiera and Grayson. Have.

I look at my mum, "So.. You're okay with humans now?"

She smiles, "Oh yes.. Now I know that if we ever need back-up, we just grab a few."

I laugh.

We all watch the people at the party dance.. Drink.. Laugh.
But they had no idea who they were.. And why they're still here.

I walk over to Grayson.

"Hey Grayson.. Look I-- I would like to keep it as.. Just friends."

He nods, "I think that's a good idea."

That's how I got my family to realise.. Human's are great!
I'm no longer in my home town, nor does it exist anymore.
But I'm way happier to call Earth my home.

And one day.. When these humans find out their inner power, the other side of themselves..

Maybe..
Earth will be the new Remainia.
