The Greeks marched eastward toward an area of which the Persians were crossing. They saw a heavy mass of Persian ships that came from the Persian gulf ready to cross the Aegean. It was time for the powers of the gods to be used against the Persians and the revenge and madness of their King, Xerxes. The Spartans shouted with joy as the Persian ships were sinking one by one.
