Sadik groaned. What now? This British guy has been here for a week, almost as if replacing Antonio.
"I said, excuse me!"
"Yes, sir?" Sadik had replied.
"Do you happen to know an Antonio?"
"Maybe. What for?"
"Well– Wait. Why should I tell you?"
"Maybe I have some valuable information about this Antonio!"
The Brit was quiet.
"Fine. I want to find him. I've been calling him and texting him all week.
He hasn't answered. I may even be worried."
"And why is that?"
"We had an arrangement to meet up. But, the day before he said Lovino was coming over. He didn't say why, but it made me a little worried."
Sadik sat across from him.
"Why would it make you worried?"
"Well... They had a relationship, but it was a tad abusive. I'm glad Toni gotten out of it."
Sadik closed his eyes.
Oh no.
Sadik took his mask off and looked the man in the eyes.
"I'll figure it out."
"But now you got to tell me!"
"About what?"
"Antonio!"
"I really don't know a lot."
"You git."
"Have a nice day, sir."
Sadik stood and walked to the counter.
He'll figure it out. He'll find out.
Even if it causes things to fall out.
