"Hurry up honey, we have a lot of miles to travel" my mom shouted from corridor. I was in my room packing my things. We were leaving this place, as my father recently got promoted and his new head office was in New York.

We were living in Canada for a long time. From a toddler to teenager this place was witness of nineteen years of my life. My grandparents also lived here, just two blocks away from our house.

"Coming mum" I replied.

Finally I finished packing my stuff and with teary eyes gave one last look to my room.

My grandparents arrived to bade us goodbye.

"I'll miss u honey and keep coming here ever so often" my granny said with teary eyes.

"I will granny" I hugged her.

"Hey kiddo where's the high five for your grandpa" I smiled gave him a high five. He still treated me like a kid, not that I was complaining. He was extremely doting grandpa.

I loved my grandparents so much. I used to visit them every once in a while. They were so much of fun to be around.

"I'll miss you grandpa" I hugged him.

"All ready to go" my father said while loading all the packings in our car.

"Daddy can't we take miss Lucy with us" my four year old baby brother said crying. Miss Lucy was the name of our neighbor's cat. My baby brother used to play with her a lot. I guess the liking was mutual here as that kitty used to cuddle him most of the times.

"No honey Mrs brewer will take care of her and you'll be getting a new Miss Lucy as soon as we'll reach New York" dad replied sweetly.

"Really?" My little brother asked getting excited.

"Of Course honey" my mom said kissing his cheeks.

Dad started engine, and with that we were off to our new destination and future.

I was sitting in the backseat of our car along with my baby brother, who was too busy playing with his fluffy kitty toy. I assumed, that kid probably was missing Miss Lucy. Maybe it was in the basic psyche of a child to get more attached to a pet.

As for me I was engrossed in appreciating every details of the beautiful forest along the way. I loved to travel, especially the part where you just have to sit and enjoy the scenery passing by.

After 9 hours of exhausting ride, we pulled into the small parking lot outside our new house.

It was beautifully built small house with elegant surroundings. Well built small houses were lined up in the row.

All of the above I loved my new room. It was one of the biggest rooms in the house with floral printed wall on the bed side, a huge mirror, two shelving systems and beautiful cabinets.

From my window a gigantic mansion in our neighborhood was visible. It was located in a massive area with a long driveway lined with oak trees and elegant fountains leading to the entrance. Two most expensive cars were parked in its front. A huge golf court at its back was partially visible.

My eyes were stuck on its astonishing structure and I was awestruck by its palace like ambience.

"Oooh, we surely do have filthy rich neighbours." I mumbled in amazement.
