"I always believed there's a fine line between love and hate"
-Susan Blommaert
-----------------------------

My head was hurting badly as I opened my eyelids slowly. The room I was lying in slowly became visible to my sight. I tried to sit up on the extremely cozy bed that I was lying in. As the room finally came into my view I gaped in amazement at its splendid decorations. There were glossy and expensive furnishings and a huge chandelier in the middle. It was the most magnificent room that I'd ever seen. Wow! My jaw dropped at the glorious sight. It was a massive room, almost triple in size, compared to my room.

Wait what, my room! this isn't my room! why am I sleeping in someone else's room?

Realisation hit me like a thunderbolt and I started panicking. I tried to recall the incident and some of the portions flashed across my mind. I remembered waiting for my mom outside parking lot, someone pressing a cloth over my nose and blacking out.

Was I kidnapped?

That single word caused chills to run down my spine. My heart started pounding in fear. I was kidnapped. Normally, I would've imagined a kidnapper's place to be an old abandoned building or some dark scary forest. But contrastingly this place was grand like a palace.

Why would someone kidnap me?

Is this some kind of palace?

Did some prince kidnapped me and trapped me in his palace?

Why would he do that?

I was annoyed by the weird questions popping inside my head at the time of crisis. I tried searching for my phone but it was nowhere to be found.

Make sense since you're kidnapped, my sarcastic bone woke up again.

I ignored it and wandered my eyes all over the room to get some hint. A small photo frame above drawers caught my attention. I picked it up. It was the picture of a beautiful lady with a little boy around five-six years old and a girl around ten-twelve years old. They all were smiling widely. Features of the little boy seemed bit familiar but I wasn't able to recall it clearly so I shrugged it off and placed the frame back to its position.

I decided to explore the room to find my answers. A door to a balcony caught my attention. I opened the door and went to the balcony. The balcony was located at the height equivalent to two floor house. It was a huge mansion indeed.

The view I came across balcony seemed vaguely familiar. A huge golf court was visible on the backside of the mansion and on its other side small houses lined up in a row were visible. First house in the row seemed extremely familiar.

My house!

Then it occured to me, I was kidnapped by my filthy rich neighbours. But I was absolutely clueless about their reasons for performing such a horrific act. I tried finding all the possible escapes, but balcony was too high for that. Finally tired of my failed attempts, I went back inside lost in my thoughts.

"So you're finally up" I heard a deep voice.

Wait I know it. As I saw the person in front of me I froze in my tracks.

Mark Winston! He was looking at me amusingly with an evil glint in his eyes. My whole tension abruptly converted into rage.

"You psychotic jerk, how dare you to kidnap me" I said fuming in anger.

"Watch your little mouth nerd. If I were you, I would've kept it shut" he said warningly.

"I'm not scared of you asshole" I shouted angrily at the top of my lungs.
