Okay today's chapter 9 because the last update; blown away does not count as a chapter. I just thought the song got along
well with the story, so, shouts out to Carrie Underwood!
Today's chapter is a filler, mind you.
Now here comes the golden chapter!
Ha I'm kidding I know my writing sucks
Bye.

We were in a bad mood at breakfast.
I poked on my oatmeal and Scott didn't even pick up his spoon.
My parents and Kirstie looked uncomfortable, and I felt the same.

Every time Scott moved his right hand, my left one did the same. It was really getting on my nerves.

The doorbell rang, and Kirstie ran to answer it. A few minutes later, Kirstie appeared with..

"Travis!"

I ran to him, and I felt Scott following me.
Travis opened his arms and I jumped in, wrapping my arms around him.

As I let go, I felt my left arm being tugged towards the table. I glanced over, and I saw Scott returning to the table.

I tugged on my arm, but Scott didn't come.
He was stubborn and firm, standing in place, sulking like a little kid.

I sighed and turned back to Travis, ignoring my arm being constantly pulled back.

"Baby!!It's nice to see you! Are you okay..?
You know..." I gestured to Scott and Travis smiled.

"Yeah. I'm fine. The doctor told me I'll be alright in a few weeks."

I almost passed out in relief.
"That's great to hear!" I gasped.

"So why, exactly are you here?"

Scott's voice rang out.
I glared at him, and he shugged like, what?

"Oh actually I came to give you this."

Travis held out a small key.

"W..what is this?" I asked and I saw Scott standing up.

"It's the key to your cuffs. Well, It's not the keys but I got my mom's police friend to lend me this." He shrugged. "I never thought she'd have the same pair of cuffs."

I took the key and slowly put it in the hole.
Slowly, I turned it.

click.

I stared in disbelief as the cuffs loosened itself from my wrist.
Scott pulled his wrist free as well.
He looked surprised, and...
and a little disapointed.

He tried to say something, but I ignored him and ran to Travis, screaming.

"I'm free! I'm free!" I yelled.

Travis smiled at me. "You're welcome."

I screamed and kissed him. He grinned.
"Are you done with your breakfast? Can you come on a date with me?" he asked.

I looked over at my parents and they nodded.

"Don't be too late. You know you have a project due tomorrow. " Mom reminded me.

I smiled. "Yes m'mam!"

Travis held out his hand and I took it.
I was very greatful because being cuffed to Scott was getting on my last nerve.
I squeezed Travis's hand as we walked out our front door.
I had a feeling today was going to be a good day
