~Chapter One~

"What if I had a normal life?" I ask myself this question frequently, 'What if my dad wasn't an alcoholic asshole who beats me?' Yet another one. I wished I knew the answers to these...

I was contemplating these questions, when my father bust down my door. "What 'chya doin' ya fag?" He slurred. 'Shit, he's drunk'. I thought and began shaking. He threw an empty bottle my way, I dodged it, he displeased this action very much. I could feel as my dad were looking through my chocolate brown bangs, and straight into my terror filled emerald green eyes.

I frantically began looking around for some kind of exit, to avoid the shit that lied ahead.

Interrupting my thoughts, my father grabbed ahold of my shirt collar, I was defenseless but human instinct kicked in, I kicked and screamed and pleaded for mercy. "You shoulda' thought 'bout that when you didn't answer me ya mistake." His words were still slurred.

He slammed me down. The wind escaping my lungs. I began sobbing, the previous bruises hurting like hell. "D-dad... s-s-stop..." I stammered weakly.

He didn't. Her stood there and beat me he kicked me, punched me, threw his empty beer bottles at me. Eventually he did retreat back to the living room. I sat there sobbing for at least an hour. Then looked at my clock

11:56 PM

'Oh shit! I'll be late!' I thought. I quickly bandaged myself up, and pulled my too-big-for-me green sweater off of my slender frame, then my skinny jeans, I quickly, but carefully, put on my uniform, a baby blue button up, long sleeved shirt, some black slacks, some dark dress shoes, and a black hat that read "NIGHT WATCH" with little fake bear ears sticking out, it also came with a name tag giving some basic information of mine (name, age, date of birth, etc.).

I quietly snuck out of my window, and Sprinted to my new job...
