"OWW THAT HURTS" Ava screams at the doctors and nurses and they continue runnng test on her leg I know she is in pain by the way she is gripping on to Carli
"Last one"the nurse said
Thank god I don't think I can take anymore of this without stepping in I thought to my self.
The doctor and nurses pile out of the room and I sat on the other side of Ava who was whimpering in Carli's arms
"Shhhh baby it ok it over now "Carli said trying to console our daughter
She ended up falling asleep then the doctor came back in
"Ok so we know what's causing he pain in her legs " the doctor said
Well in the crash the bone in her knee is moving over and crushing the nerves that helps her move her leg we can move the bone back into place but the nerves are badly damaged that she won't ever walk again and if we don't fix the problem in could create bigger problems in the future and on top of that constant pain every time she moves or try's to walk on it." He said " it s up to you two on what we do"the doctor said
I looked at Carli she nodded already knowing what I was going to say
We couldn't let her go through life with that constant pain where her moms and we have to do what we think is right for her
"Do the surgery on her" I said
"Ok I will get the team ready we will have her in surgery this evening." He said before walking off
Carli had tears in her eyes again i knew. She was trying to fight it but was failing "Car come here" I said as I opened my arms to her she walked into them and broke down I let her cry into my chest as I rubbed her back "shhh babe it gonna be ok "i soothed her
We stood there with her in my arm until she calmed down. We went back into the room and waited until we needed to wake up Ava .

(Surgery time)
"Ava baby girl wake up " I say
She groans but opens her eyes
" what's wrong baby girl"I say
"My head hurts and my leg" she whines
"It's ok the doctor is going to take you to feel better k?" I say
"We have to change you though ok?"I say to my daughter
"Ok mommy " she said
The nurses hand us her surgery clothes and Carli and I strip her down then put the hospital gown on her .
"Mommy can you come with me " she asked me
"No baby I can't go with you but I will be here when you get back ok." I said
"Ok bye bye"she said
"Bye baby girl" Carli said
"Love you" she said
"Love you too baby"I said as the my took her away
I really hope we did the right thing I thought to my self

By now we had called the team and told them what's going on most of the came for supportive reasons the doctor finally came out after hours and hours of waiting
"Well" Ash said causing Ali to hit her on the arm
" She is out of surgery and has been moved to recovery all went smoothly but the nerves were badly damaged and there was nothing we could do to fix them without damaging them more".
" what does that mean " Tobin said
"It means she might never walk again"
"You said might" Syd said
"The chances of her being able to walk are very slim there almost is no chance at all" he said
"When can we see her" I asked
"Now if you want she should be awake or about to wake up he said she is in a new room she's in 812 now"the doctor said before exiting
We all get up and go into the room and as soon as we do Ava wakes up
"Hi mommy" she said looking at me
"Hey baby how you feel" I ask
"Sore" she said I smiled and kissed her head
"Awwww look at the big bad goalkeeper getting all soft" Ash said and everyone chuckled including me "shut up Ash" i said
"Mommy" Ava whispered
"Yes" I say
"Who are they"she asks pointing to the team
" Oh that's right you don't know them yet". I said
I looked around the room as I started all the introductions
