The team

"AVA wait up please" I heard Ashlyn yell
She's been trying to catch up with me I final come to a stop not be able to hold in the sobs any more I am infront of my house I drop to my knees and start to cry
Ashlyn comes to try to comfort me
"Babe don't cry don't waste your tears on her "Ashlyn said
She holds me in my arms until the door flys open
I look up to see my aunt ash standing there she kneels down to me
"What's wrong princess" she said
She only calls me that when I'm sad , hurt , or sick
I was crying to hard to answer
"Samantha and coach " Ashlyn said
(Ash = Ashlyn Harris ,Ashlyn =Ashlyn Reed)
"Oh baby girl" she said she lifted me up in her arms
" Thank you Ashlyn" said
"No problem" she said
"Bye Ava " she said kissing my head
Ash took me in side and she carried me up stairs she sat down with me as i cried into her chest
"Shhh it's ok what did she do this time"she asked as she rubbed my back trying to calm me down
Once I did I told her everything that happened today.
"Baby why didn't you tell us sooner" ash said
" I dunno" I mumbled
She sighed and rocked my back and forth
"Where is she " I heard Hope say
"There's your mom"ash said
Hope came into the room and immediately took me form ash's arms
"Baby girl what happened" Hope said
I explained to her what happened
And I started to cry again she rocked me and ran her for hers through my hair until I feel asleep

Hope's pov
Once she fell asleep I laid her down and left her room
"Thank you Ashlyn " I said to my old teammate and best friend
"No problem hopey" she said
I glared at her
"Did she tell you she quit" ash said
"Yea" I said with a sigh
" we need to get to the bottom of that " I said
" agreed" ash said " when she came home she was crying harder than she ever has and I will admit it scared the hell of out of me to see her cry like that." Ash said
I smiled and nodded.

The next day Ava's pov
The next day Ashlyn came over
"Hey babe how ya feeling" she asked
"Better actually I feel like I did the right thing I did what I had to"I said
" I have something to tell you" Ashlyn said
"What" I say concerned
" i quit the team too you were right and I rather be with you than do anything . I love you Ava and I will give anything to be with you forever" she said I smile and tackled her with a passionate j

(Time skip first national team pratice)
"Omg I can't believe we are actually here"I said
"Haven't you been around the national team your whole life""Ashlyn said
"Yea but watching and doing are two different things"I said
"Ok ladies we've got some new kids with us for this camp"Abby said
Everyone looked at us
"Ava" moe said as she came over to me and engulfed me and a hug.
"Hey moe moe" I said
"Who is this"she said looking at Ashlyn
"This is my girlfriend Ashlyn" I said
"Oh so this is the Asyn I have been hearing about" moe said
"Hi" Ashlyn said
"Ok ladies partner up and start the drills" Abby said
"Goalies your with me"Hope said
"Ooooo good luck" I say to Ashlyn 
"Whatever" Ashlyn says
"Your gonna need it Hope is tough so is Ash (aka the other goalie coach)" moe said
"Oh god guys your scaring me"Ashlyn said as she walked over to the goalies
Moe and I partnered up and we started our drills
" so girlfriend huh" moe said
"Yeah" I say
"What is she like is she good with you"moe asked
"Yes she is good with me and she is basically another me except for she's a goalie" I said
Moe smiled
"Our opponents are definitely in trouble if we've got two of you" moe said with a smile

Pratice went on we did  more drills ,  technique, more partner work and a scrimmage

After practice we went to our hotel to shower and change I was rooming with Ashlyn
"How way goalie practice" I said
"It was actually really fun it was more challenging the we did before but I  expected that" she said

"Well we've go team meeting in 10 so we should get going" I said
We head down to the meeting and took our seats 
Abby talks to us about what will happen at this camp and what they are looking for
"We can only bring 23 players to the World Cup so keep in mind you're in constant competition with your teammates at this camp." She said
This made me nervous but I was ready

Next day
My alarm went off at 6 am  breakfast wasn't til 9:00 but I needed my alone time
Ashlyn is far from a light sleeper so I wasn't worried about waking her
I showered and put on random clothes  did some homework when I was done it was 7:00 I still had another hour before I had to wake Ashlyn so I grabbed my head phones , my phone , and room key and went for a walk
I walked through the hall about to go to the lobby 
I walked out side enjoying the morning air 
When I saw Hope (aka my mom)
"Hey mom" I said taking out my head phones
"Hey baby girl what are you doing out so early " Hope said
"Just walking " I said
We talked and walked around Cali until we had to go back
I went up to my room and woke Ashlyn  we both changed  and went down for breakfast

"how long have you been up" Ashlyn said
"Since six" I said
"Why so early" she said
"Homework" I said
Ashlyn groans
" I still have to do mine " she whines
I chuckle at her
"So Ava what college do you want to go to" jaelene said
"UNC" I said
"Ooo another UNC grad" crystal said
I smiled
"What about you Ashlyn" Moe said
"Where she goes I go"Ashlyn said
"Awww so sweet she's a keeper " moe said
"In more ways than one" I say
At training  we did fitness testing which I was excited for and dreaded
"Ok ladies we are going to end testing today with the beep test"Abby said
We got lined up for the beep test and started the first person dropped out at 30 it went on until me and crystal remained
Crystal stopped then it was just me  everyone was cheering for me to do one more I did and stopped getting 60
"Ok ladies great work you are dismissed" Abby said
The rest of the camp went the same getting to know the different players , training and having some very interesting off days . It was finally time to go home
"I can't believe it over " I said
"Yeah who knew this would be so much fun"Ashlyn said
I laughed at her 
"I really hope we make it I really can't wait to come back" I said
"Yeah me too" Ashlyn said
"Flight 112 to Seattle now boarding"
We got up and. Boarded our plane heading home with Hope ,Carli, Ash, and Tobin
