"I Quit"

*7 years later *
Ava's pov
"Hey babe what up" my girl friend Ashlyn says to me taking me out of my thoughts
"Oh nothing just thinking about how many times I can score on my girl friend" I say with a smirk
"Oh your so on" Ashlyn says
"After pratice ?"I ask
"It's a date"she said
"Reed, Solo come on I've got  an announcement " coach said
We run over and he says
"We are going to have some special guest in pratice this week" he said
"Who" Samantha said
"Oh just  the coaches from the U-20 ,U-21, U-23, and the. Senior national team coach"he said with a grin
All the girls started cheer and jumping up and down
I just kinda stood there not knowing how to react to this.
"So your saying that we could get out on the national team" Emma squealed out
"Yes you can" head coach Abby Wambach said walking in
With the assistant coach and goalie coach Carli Solo  and Hope Solo(aka my moms)  the coaches from the U teams came in
U-23 Kelley O'hara
U-21 Julie press
U-20 Becky Sarubruh (sorry If I spelled it wrong)
"Ok ladies lets get to work"coach said 
"we have a game in a week this pratice will determine the starters" he said

We all went to the field did some drills a lot of players tried to show off but I just did what I always do and so did Ashlyn she just saved amazing goals I was proud of her for doing so
"Everyone find a partner except goalies" coach called
"AVA" half the team yelled at me
The of all people Samantha came up to me and said
"She's already my partner"
The all looked at me I just shrugged and went with Samantha
"Why exactly did you want to be me partner" I asked
"Because I consider us as friends" she said
I scoffed "yeah in what country"I stated
"Ok fine I'm just using you to get on a team and you better not mess this up for me " she said "or else" she threatened
"Or else what" I said
After our partner work which seemed to go on and on and on
It was scrimmage time
Goalies were team Captins
"Ava" Ashlyn said
Then sighed a little in relief I smirked at her as I walked and stood behind her once all the teams were picked we set for the scrimmage

Emma had the ball and passed the to me I carried it up the center and I tried passing the ball to the left but someone ramed into me from behind kick the ball not know where it as I ran into the post it knocked the wind out of me and I held on to the post as I tried to breath I kneeled down and someone put their hand on my back
"You ok"Emma said
I nodded and got up
"Where did the ball go" I asked
"You scored"she said
I smiled "wow I said
"Yeah" she said
We set up again and the other team got the ball and passed to Abigail who was in the center
Then Samantha who was infront of me  she ran at me and I didn't back down I ran at her and I kicked the ball between her legs i got around her and as soon as she  saw what happened she hit the ground clutching her foot
"Oww my foot" she said
Coach blew the whistle 
"I didn't even touch you" I said
"Yes you did you hit my ankle" she  said
"Omg I didn't fucking touch you but what ever"I said I walked away
Which probably seemed mean
But if I had of stayed I might have kicked her for real
"Ava" Ashlyn yelled
As I stood on the left side of the field watching the whole thing
"Yes" I say irratated
"What happened" she said
" I ran at the ball at the ball I hit the ball not her and I took the ball from her so she's faking it I didn't hit her" I said / yelled  trying to get someone to believe me
" ok ok it's ok I believe you" she said
I sighed and fixed my pony tail
"Solo"coach called
"Yes" I said
"Did you do it on purpose" coach said

"No I didn't even touch her" I said
"Well until we find out for sure you will have to sit out. He said with a smirk
I bit my toungh and went to the bench
Ever since Samantha's dad became coach I have been treated  unfairly
I closed my eyes putting my head in my hands trying to keep my frustration at bay
After the scrimmage we went to the locker room I was dead silent as I walked  in 
"Hey Sam I thought your ankle was hurt I heard" someone say

"No I just lied to get her out the game so she wouldn't show me up" Sam said
"You lieing bitch" I said
"Oh hey Samantha" said
" Oh hey oh HEY that's all you can say " I yelled
"What do you want me to say I'm sorry .......... Well I'm not"she said
"I'm done"I said
I graddedmy bag and walked out of the locker room right into Abby
"Oh I'm so sorry" I say
"It's ok "Abby said
"Hey are you ok" Abby said
"Um yeah never better" I lied
"No your not"she said
"Come with me " she said
I followed Abby out to an open field in the park by our field
"Tell me what really happened" she said
I looke at her then sighed
"I hit the ball not her I know I didn't hit her and I'm not lieing I seems no one believes me and the coach is Samantha's dad so I know he won't believe me he rather root in hell than believe his sweet little Samantha did something wrong or Maude he dose know he just doesn't care" I said then took a sigh of relief for getting that off my chest
Abby smiled at me
"You know your just like your mom" she said
"How" I asked "you don't open up to people you keep your feelings locked up" she said
" that is until Carli and you came along and changed her "she said
I smiled  at her
"We well get this whole coach thing sorted out" she said
"But I would like to invite you to a camp with the seinor national team" she said
I gasped " wait your serious " I say
she chuckled "yes I'm serious your great and I don't think this team is not challanging you and we don't want you getting comfortable now do we" she said
"No I guess not I said" with a chuckle
"Oh and the best way to deal with a bully is to not let them walk all over you" Abby said
" I do not " I started but was cut off
"No maybe not but you let her

Do what she wants and you don't say anything to her you gotta stick up for yourself kid" Abby said
" your right " I said
We walked back  to the field
"There you are"Ashlyn said
"I'll leave you too alone"Abby said
"Guess what " Ashlyn said sounding really excited
  "what" I said copying her childish voice
"Hope asked me to the national team camp as a goalie" she said
"OMG I'm so happy for you" I said
"But wait then i will be away from you " she said  with a sad look
"Well I could always come with you"I said
she looked confused
"Abby invited me too" I said
"Omg" she said
She picked me up and spun me around she leaned in and kissed my I smiled through our kiss
"Ok break  it up you two" Emma said with a smile
"Solo" coach Practically growled at me
"Yes " I answered still in Ashlyn's arms
"40 laps go" he yelled
"What? What did I do" I asked
"Oh don't play dumb with me" he said "Samantha told me what you did"
"And what was that" Ashlyn said tightening her grip around my waist
"You spoke in vain about my deceased wife " he growled
"What I did not such thing" I yelled back
" yes you did I know you did your  Jealous of Samantha and you will do anything to hurt her  and you wonder why your fathers didn't want you I wouldn't want you either now hope is stuck with you and I don't know how she dose it
I really don't know how you got her to believe that whole crippled act you played when you were younger you are a  disgrace to your family and on to this team you are just a burden everyone has to bear." He yelled in my face
"You got that right"some one said behind me
I turned to see if course Samantha
"You are mean , self centered , and no one loves you Hope doesn't love you Carli doesn't and neither does Ashlyn she's just using you bea cause she thinks you good but she is really mistaken if she thinks your better than me " Samantha said
I pulled out of Ashlyn's grip
"What have I ever done to you" i yelled " for you to treat me this way nothing you don't work for what you want you try and tear others down your upset that the new kid who also happened to have been crippled came in and was better than you . Your just a spoiled brat that thinks the whole damn world is hers that everyone should just do what she say but I came here and messed your little plan up didn't I  of being he best . But then again maybe you are right maybe I'm not as good as people say I am or maybe I'm not wanted or all of the above but there is one thing I know for sure and that's that I'm sick and tired of you using other people as your damn puppets you have your dad wrapped around your finger and you lie , and cheat , to be the best   You hurt people and don't give it a second thought would your mom be proud of how you've acted towards me even thought Hope and Carli are my moms now I still think about her and what she was like and everyday I try to make all of them proud do my best be honest and noble but you wouldn't know anything about that now would you " I finished
" I'm done with the  unfairness of this team I have really enjoyed playing with all of you these past 7 years  but I'm not going through this anymore." I said " I quit" I said
"So that's it your done with soccer" Samantha said
"Oh no I'm still going to play just not on this team" I said
I grabbed my stuff and walked away and not looking back.
