I walk through these empty halls,
That whisper my quiet footsteps.
No one walks by my sides,
And it's quiet as the stars glitter.
The moon is my light,
And the stars are my pathway.
My feet reach the end,
I've made it.
I open my eyes,
The class is over.
The bell rings,
And I walk out the door.
The halls are filled with roaring lions.
I see you at the end of the hall,
And a smile forms on my face.
When I reach you and hold your hand,
I'm back to the beginning.
The stars became my pathway once again.
