Is it weird to say
I want to have
A picnic with you
At a golf course?
Of course it's not,
Well to us of course,
Because we're both weird
In a good way.
We can have a swim
In a pond at the park.
Or hike at the very top
Of that small hill we
Passed by the other day.
Let's go make sand castles
At the sandpit of a
Childrens play place.
Let's ride horses,
Wooden ones of course,
On our living room floor.
I'd love to see the world
With you my sweet,
Even if it means
Through paintings
Or google.
Our kids will see
How silly we can be,
But that would be okay,
Because our kids
Wouldn't mind joining us.
Lets make bubbles
In our drinks,
And pop them
With our tongues.
And lets go camping,
Tent and blankets,
On our kitchen floor.
Lets watch the stars
On a grassy field,
And hold each other close.
Because when I'm with you,
No matter the place
Nor time of day,
I love being with you.
Even if we just lay in bed,
And dream of dragons
And castles and princesses.
I love to be with you,
To smile with you,
And have adventures with you.
Because I love you.
