The Rain Pours Down

She stares out into the pouring rain,
For she can not look behind her.
They scream, they shout,
And act likes she's not yonder.

She draws blank pictures into the cold glass,
And a tear crawls out from her eye.
She hears a slap and a thump on the floor,
And she just can't take it anymore.

She runs out into to rain,
And runs faster than any other.
Tears in her eyes,
And the dark clouds in the sky,
She tries to escape her world.

As her feet give way,
And she falls to kiss the ground,
She turns to look towards space.

The drops kiss her skin,
As she holds a onto the ground,
For she can't go back now.

Her heart sinks below the earth,
And her soul to the sky.
Her eyes shut softly,
To look away from the grey sky.

She lays there for minutes,
Maybe hours or days.
She just gave up,
Because she couldn't find her place.

Why did this happen?
Why to her?
It's happening in her life,
Now she's in need.

In need of love,
In need of hope,
In need of joy,
In need of people,
But nothing reaches a hand out to her.

Hands push her down to her grave,
And leave her to suffer.
Suffer from things she didn't wanted,
But she was too small to speak up.

Now she just lays in her grave,
Blanket in hand,
And a pillow in the other.
Not having a reason to leave.

She lays still as a stone.....
For minutes....
Then hours......
Now days......
