Once you open your eyes,
Your know the dream is over.
There is no going back for it,
And if you close your eyes once again,
Just so you can reach the old dream,
A new one appears.
Once those eyes open,
There is no going back.
Once you realize your back to reality,
You wish to go back in wonderland,
Even if its too late.
You wake up in different ways: Laughing; Crying; Silent;
Scared; Proper; Mad; Rude; Grumpy; kind; and maybe
still thinking your the Queen of England.
Once you let go,
Once those eyes open,
You've officially let go.
Emotions start to flow: Wanting it back;
Glad to let go; Wishing it would finish;
Glad it ended just in time;
Or hoping for part 2 in your adventure.
But even if you've let go,
You can grab onto another dream.
Another dream more adventurous than the last,
Another dream the puts the others to bed.
Even though letting go of a dream
means you can't know the end,
Know that it's okay to start fresh.
