Waking up

I took a breath getting off the bus, looking up at the dinner. I worked there, i had to help out at the house. My mom my maybe a scientist but she was broke. The shift went smoothly in the beginning.

"Hey rose! Did you hear about what happened at the park?" My boss asked me while leaning over the counter.

I shook my head, "no, what happened?" There were only a few people here today. So i sat across from her.

"There was some like northern like crap, and that Loki guy and the hunk were fighting."

I raised my eye brows, " isnt his name thorn? Or maybe it was Thor..."

She laughed lightly, "ya its Thor, so anyway they are still at it!" She handed her phone over to me, it was a photo of Lightning and colors in the sky over the center park in town.

"Loki tried to destroy the world with aliens a few years back right?"i said it handed her phone back. Typical men.. Getting into fights and breaking crap.

"Yep thats right, and to tell you the truth they are fighting way to close for comfort." She said it with a worried expression.

I poured coffee for a customer then went back to her. " how close were they last time you saw?" I asked it glancing at all the customers to make sure everything was good.

She sighed, " about two miles... Oh my god! Everyone duck and cover!" She screamed pulling me over the counter spilling the coffee. Which burned like hell, what the hell is hap-

There was a huge crash when i hit the floor. Then i was jolted even farther forward smashing my face into metal. Ouch thats going to be sore. I jumped up looking around, i gasped. There was a man indented into the counter right were i had been sitting. That was so close... Like waayyy to damn close. I gasped, when i realized who it was. I helped my boss up and pushed her away. "Everyone get out now!" I said with a paled face.

It was Loki, everyone panicked but made it out in time. I was about to run to but the a part from the roof and nearly hit me and blocked the way around the counter. I sighed and started at Loki. "Maybe if I'm quiet he wont notice me." I whispered it lightly. Yes rose because thats how its works. I climbed on to the counter, his still body next to my feet. I was about to jump when there was a crack. I looked up. I gasped, the roof! The counter wobbled and i fell.

"Oh! That hurt!" I landed right on top of Loki.

I yelped and looked at Loki who was rubbing his head setting up looking at me.

"Sorry!uhhh... " i heard the cracking again. I gasped. "Im going to die..." I covered my face.

"I don't know why I'm doing this but.." He said it half annoyed.

I was being moved, so i opened my eyes. "Oh" i said it in realization. We were walking out of the crumbling dinner. It crashed down a few seconds later. Loki held me with one arm and held his staff in the other. There was a crash and i looked over. There was a buff guy with a big hammer. Thor!

"Loki unhand that girl!" He said it in a deep heavy voice.

Loki rolled his eyes dropping me. Obviously not caring anymore."really?" He said it with a snort.

"Ouch!" I landed in glass. I gasped, what the hell?! I realized i was getting angry and that was a bad thing. But being angry that didn't really matter to me. Not right now anyway. I had glass in places i did not want it!

Storm cloud former over us. They looked up, then Loki looked at Thor. "Really brother?" He just glared at him.

Thor looked at Loki a bit confused himself, "this is not my doing brother, but it does not matter! You have gone to far Loki!" He yelled at Loki who looked unfazed.

I got up pushing Loki, he only budged a little. "What the hell is wrong with you?! You just dropped me in glass!" I tried pulling out some big pieces.

He looked surprised for a second. Then a annoyed look crossed his face. " go away mortal." He mumbled before turning back to Thor. Who was staring up at the sky.

I growled, and lightning struck him. He screamed falling to the ground. I turned on my heel walking away. I need to get to a doctor! I started running tears streaming down my face from the pain. I was fast so i got there fast. They fixed me up fast then sent me on my way. I frowned , i used my powers in public... How stupid could I get?
