In the warehouse the other cats are still awake and worried for Brixi. Everybody blames themselves as the principal reason for his escape. "I shouldn't have lost my temper last night! It's all my fault!" Sebastian apologizes, while a long shadow stretches over the 4 unaware kitties.
"Hey! Did I miss something?" a voice asks from the little window that provides the exit to the warehouse.
The cats take a moment to focus on the dark figure of Brixi standing in front of the moon. Only his opalescent yellow eyes were visible.
"Brixi?!" everybody incredulously shouts.

"Who did you expect? A shadow?" he mocks them, then jumps down and joins the group.
"We're so happy that you're safe!" Michelle bursts with happiness.

"Sorry for my absence! I needed to think better about the situation! This is for you!" he lays the steak bone on the ground under the amazed eyes of his friends.
"Whoa! An authentic piece of steak!" Mimi exclaims.
"Ladies first!" Sebastian invites and while his friends are eating their part he apologizes to Brixi. "I'm sorry for what I told you last night."
"You simply told me the truth" Brixi interrupts "Nobody called me the boss here, and in these days I thought about it. Since now, if you agree, we can split into four turns to investigate. I can start tomorrow morning, then one of you will go on the afternoon, one in the evening and one in the night. So all of us will share his time with Shangelina" he proposes.
"I will do the night! I always loved to go around in the dark!" Mimi offers.
"But the night is the most dangerous moment to go around!" Sebastian disagrees.
"Then we're exchanging the turns every day, what do you think?" Michelle concludes.
"We can consider this like a rebirth of our group! Based on friendship, trust and honesty!" Mimi optimistically exclaims while she makes space to Sebastian to allow him to eat his piece of food.
"It's fine for me" Brixi confirms a little upset by Mimi's remarks "Now let's go to sleep, I'm waking up early, tomorrow..."
Brixi was not the only one to be disturbed. Michelle, as well can't get sleep because she's tormented by many thoughts "I should have told them about the night the Shadow saved my life" she thinks crouching near Shangelina who is already sleeping "maybe everything would be different now! But I'm afraid of the consequences that the truth could bring for Shangelina. I don't want to lose her... And I don't want to lose my friends..." she troubles while she slowing falls into sleep.
"Trust and honesty..." Brixi thinks from the broken window of the warehouse, while he's looking at the dawn painting the sea of delicate orange and extending the shadows of objects over the harbor.
He gives a last look at his friends inside, who are still sleeping and leaves.
He runs through known ways that he covered so many times, not knowing what is going to happen next and finally reaches Rob's house and jumps inside the window that brought him into the man's life for the first time.

The alarm clock rings, marking the beginning of a new day for the man and his new acquired adventure mate.
"Good morning, honey!" he wakes up, stretching "You know? Tonight I had a weird dream that suggested me a name for our pet!" he stands up and reaches the kitchen where his wife is giving some fresh milk to the kitty. "How about Brixi?"
