Chapter 25: Bonfire

Woke up in bed, that was such a good bed to sleep in. I went down stairs it was noisy with all the shouting and yelling coming from the kitchen. I saw Daniel sitting pretty watching television.

"What's the noise about?"

"Dinner" not taking his eyes off the tv. I went to the kitchen that was such a mess.

I entered a messy kitchen and burned meat on plates. Serena trying to cook but is not succeeding, she even has a more chance of burning the house down than perfect cooking the meat.

"Wow!" I said as the burned smell and smokes welcomed me

"I quit this!" Serena said slamming the spatula on the counter, making Dylan and Jake laugh "Shut Up!"

"You owe me 50, I know she'll quit eventually!" Jake said making a happy dance

"Here!" Dylan takes the money out his pocket

"You guys are jerks!" Serena throws a bag of chips at Jake

"Thanks!" Jake catches it and opens the bag of chips

"Why don't we just have barbecues instead?" I sudgested

"That's a more good idea!" Dylan said

"It's a much more better idean than Serena cooking" Jake laughs

"Funny Jake! So funny!" Serena hits Jake

"Why don't you Serena go join Daniel at the living room and I'll prepare the things we need for the barbecue" I said

"Okay" she takes off her apron and went to the living room

"I will go too!" Jake said following Serena to the living room, I look at the kitchen it was messy all over

"I'll help you here" Dylan volunteered

"No, I'll be fine. You can join them"

"Can you finish cleaning this kitchen before dinner? You'll still have to prepare the barbecues" I looked around the second time, he really has a point there "So?"

"Fine! I might need help"

"Let's get started!" He said as he holds a rag

After cleaning the kitchen, Dylan and I went on to preparing the barbecues.

"It's better if we make make a bonfire" He sudgest, doing the final barbecue

"We call also make smores!" I exclaimed

"I love smores!"

"Me too!"

Daniel entered the kitchen, He was fresh from bathe.

"Good your here!" Dylan said "Can you help me make a bonfire?"

"Yeah sure! I was bored anyway, there is no wifi"

"You can handle this now Skye?"

"Yes, I can now manage"

We are already finished eating dinner and are all by the bonfire Dylan and Daniel made.

"Such a brilliant idea to have bonfires, perfect for the cold night" Serena said wrapping herself in a blanket

"Want one?" I offer her a smore

"Sure!"

"Who wants beer?" Jake asks, opening the cooler. Everyone said Yes so I did too

"Do you drink Skye?" Daniel was curious

"Actually No" I confessed

"The first time she drank one, she almost puked after tasting" Serena laughing remembering the party

"Here, I'll have yours" Dylan exchanging my beer with his cooked hotdog

"Thanks!"

"How about we play a game?" Amber said

"What kind of game?" Jake drinking his beer, she gets up and took an empty bottle of wine

"Spin the bottle" Everybody formed a circle and Amber spins the bottle, it stops at Daniel "Truth or Dare?"

"Truth!"

"Did you had a girlfriend before?" Amber smirking

"What kind of question is that? Yes!" Daniel answered. Everybody's expression was amazed except for Dylan

"I remember her, her name was Carol right?" As Dylan remembered

"Yeah! It was in the 7th grade I guess, we lasted for 6 months then a new student transfered from Santa Fe and Romeo tranformed to Juliette" Everyone laughs with Daniels story "My turn!" He now spins the bottle, that stopped at Serena "Truth or Dare?"

"Dare!" She answered as she sips in her drink

"Go Skinny Dipping in the lake now!" Daniel crossed his arms

"It's freezing" Serena complains

"You said Dare" Daniel reminded her

"Can I just change into Truth instead?"

"No! Dare is a dare, go!"

"Fine! If I catch a cold, I'm blaming you!" She warns Daniel but doesn't care at all

"Just go now Serena!" Serena take on the challenge to the dock where was dark, we just heard a splash and she was dripping wet when she came back.

"I hate you!" She said to Daniel, she spins the next one and landed on me. I swallowed for I am concern to what could Serena do. "Truth or Dare?" She smirks

If I pick truth she might ask me to tell Dylan how I feel and I am so not ready for that.

"Dare" I finally said

"Good choice!" She winks at me "Why don't you kiss Dylan" She comanded, I looked at her with a WHAT-ARE-YOU-DOING look "It should be on the lips" she smirks

"What?!" My voice a little bit raised

I really didn't think about my choice that hard

"It's just a kiss Skye" Daniel said cheering

"Go on!" Serena pushed me, Dylan was just smiling looking me "Do it so we can move on to the next"

"O-okay!" I was stuttering for I was nervous as hell, I was about to stand and go to Dylan when the rain dropped so hard. We all had to go back to the house running.

Thank God for the rain!

"Now I'm all wet!" Serena complaining shaking her hair

"That was really unexpected" Amber said, before anyone could even remember the dare I sneaked upstairs to the bedroom so that I can not do the Dare anymore. I closed my bedroom door behind me, my heart was still beating fast I know it wasn't because of the running but it was about the Kiss Dylan dare.

I should just sleep it off and tomorrow it will be all forgotten.
