Chapter 28: Start of Something New?

The car ride home so awkward that I decided to seat at the back ignoring everyone for what happened last night. I am not pissed or mad, just embarrassed about the unexpected accidental kiss that occured last night.

Everyone was saying sorry about the prank they pulled on me that lead to me being on top of Dylan sharing my first kiss that was even on an accident.

We pulled over first to Amber's house, next stop was Dylan and Daniel's house where I can't still look Dylan in the eye, lastly we came to my house.

"We are very sorry Skye for what happened last night" Jake said "We didn't plan it to be harmful just scary"

"Actually he planned it, I just got onboard with it! I'm sorry" Serena explained herself

"It's fine, I'm not mad" I said, getting my bag

"Then why weren't you talking to us?"

"I just felt a little upset maybe"

"Promise to never will we do it again" Serena crosses her heart

"I'll try but not promising" Jake winked

"Okay! Okay, just see you guys tomorrow at school"

"Yeah"

"Bye!" They waved goodbye before leaving

I walk out the house to the Jake's car waiting outside.

"Where's the party?" Jake teased looking at me weafing a dress

"Shut up Jake!" Serena rolls her eyes at Jake "You look so pretty Skye" She smiled

"Thank you!" Though I was a little unsure of wearing dress for today at school

As the car parked, Jake rush to get and opened my door. It surprised me, he always just walk straight inside the school but today he's being a gentleman.

"Please Jake! You just want to get inside Skye's dress" Serena push Jake away

"Not true!" He said

"Whatever! You can't fool me! Come Skye" Serena pulled me away from Jake

We entered the halls, people was staring at first I thought it was because of Serena or people behind me but they still continued to stare.

"Do I have something in my face or the dress? I knew it looks bad on me" I said pulling the dress down

"Don't be silly! It looks great on you" She said fixing my hair

"Then why do they keep on staring?"

"Gosh Skye! Because you look beautiful" she smiles

"Really?"

"Are you doubting my sense of style? If that is I'm totally hurt!" She dramatically puts her hands over her heart

"Of course not!"

"I know" She laughs, flipping her hair

"HI GIRLS!" Jake puts his arms around mine and Serena's shoulder

"Why are you here Jake?" Serena pushed his arms off of her

"I wanna spend time with you and Skye"

"You just wanna hit on Skye" she rolls her eyes

"No!" He says

"Then why aren't you with one of your girls?" I ask him chuckling

"Because now I know that you're the only girl for me" he winks
