All day today I have been none stop packing for Disney. Yeah I know it shouldn't take that long but thanks to the trip being announced two days before we go I was bot prepared. And it's also thanks to me being way behind on laundry and also thanks to Riley wanting to wear a different outfit for every day we are there for two weeks.
Sometimes my daughter can be a very big fashionista.
*Ding Dong*
I was snapped out of thought by the door bell ringing.
"Mommy! someone's at the door!" Riley shouted up the stairs.
"I heard! can you get it for me please!" I yelled.
"Sure!" Riley shouted again.
"Thank you!" I yelled again as well.
"You're welcome!" Riley shouted before I heard her little footsteps run towards the front door. I couldn't help but smile at that before placing some more clothes into both mine and Riley's suitcases.
"CHRIS!!" Riley shouted in excitement with a big smile in her voice.
'What's he doing here? and how'd he know where we live?'
I placed the clothes I had in my hand down before walking out of my room and towards the top of the stairs. When I got to the top of the stairs I couldn't help but smile when I saw Chris twirling Riley around making her giggle.
"Careful there Chris, Riley may throw up on you if you keep spinning her around like that" I said with a light smirk as I started to walk down the stairs.
Chris laughed at that before he stopped spinning Riley around. "Good point, but you wouldn't do that right Riley?"
"No, I would warn you if I felt like I was getting sick" Riley said as she smiled at Chris.
Chris smiled back at Riley and kissed her forehead before setting her down on her feet.
"Chris can you stay for a while and play with me please?" Riley asked with a hopeful smile.
"I would love too, but how's about you ask your mommy if it's okay first, okay?" Chris said with a faint smile.
"Okay" Riley said before looking and smiling at me. "Can Chris please stay and play with me for a while mommy?"
I smiled back at Riley. "Sure as long as you promise me that you'll clean you after yourself after you guys are done playing, okay?"
"Okay" Riley said with a big smile making me smile back at her again.
"Then in that case go play" I said.
Riley giggled at that before she started to drag Chris into the living to play.
