I am in no way trying to romanticize mental illnesses, self harm or addictions in any shape or form. I'm not trying to make the actions (especially killing) seem like their right or make up excuses. As you read on you will me able to see how harsh and tragic and borderline disgusting addictions, etc can make you feel and how mental illnesses are not something beautiful.
